This is the first time I've used Andis detachable blades, as I have always owned Oster blades in the past, but I've always trusted Andis machines. Since I got the Andis Supra ZR II, which uses detachable blades, I decided to buy all brand new Andis blades. The barber supply I used did not have two of them, so I got them on desertcart. This was priced pretty good for the blade size and the seller checked out good. The blade being high quality was nothing big; it should be. That's where the seller comes in. Some will sell used or returned items as new, and some will even sell you counterfeit or knockoff items. Not this seller. My blade was brand new, in original packaging, and it was not something "new, old stock" that had been sitting somewhere for years discoloring. I will be doing business with this seller in the future. One last thing, the ceramic cutters are fare better than the regular metal ones. Only a fade masters replacement will work. **Q: What number leaves the longest hair? I just used a 10 and it cut very short.** A: The bigger the number the longer it leaves hair. Since you can always go bigger I am not sure what your question is. If you do not know what you are doing a 2 is probably as long as you would be able to get a clean and even cut. A 3 3/4 blade is probably the longest blade that gives an even buzz cut. I find that by the time you go to a 5 you need to throw a clip on a master's and spend an hour scrubbing away. Mind you these are barber numbers, for reference your "10" is a 1 in barber nomenclature. But 10 is used in the dog grooming world, I do not know why. But both groups use the same tools. **Q: Is it detachable?** A: Yea it is. but I stay away from the ceramic blades personal preference **Q: Can it be used in agc2 clipper** A: Sorry, I’m not sure. I use it in a Classic 76 Oster. It’s a good blade that doesn’t run hot, but DON’T drop it on the ground. The ceramic edge is very fragile and will crack.
