Organic Herbal Hair Dye in Golden Blonde 110g

I usually would buy all the powders separately and mix them myself. My hair is light brown. I used to just colour with Henna first, and then apply Indigo after for a nice warm reddish brown shade. This would cover all my greys. Now I decided to "lighten up" and go for a more blondish kinda colour, and I got lovely results with just a mix of Cassia, Rhubarb, and a small amount of Henna, leaving it on for 3 hours max. I decided to try this mix from It's Pure and it worked lovely. I think you really have to let it sit for 3 hours, and maybe do it again after a month or so. If you do it too often, then your hair shafts will accumulate colour over time and that's not good.. makes the hair stiff and changes its structure. You'd loose your curls for example.. I am buying more of this anyways, saves me to do the mixing myself. And the quality is really good. I would recommend it.

This is the worst hair coloring I have ever used. First, it is SO MESSY it left green stains all over my bathroom. Second, it does not cover gray hair at all despite leaving on for 45 minutes and does not add any significant colour either! I am going to go out and immediately buy a proper hair colour kit tomorrow and redo as this does nothing except make a huge mess. DO NOT BUY, this product DOES NOT WORK. ZERO STARS.

After 6 months of going au natural, I'd had enough of my white hair and felt it aged me ( a lot!). I try to stay as natural as possible and only use organic beauty products. Anyway, I thought I would try this organic hair dye especially as it is COSMOS certified. This is how I feel about using it - - - I honestly didn't realise it was a henna product when I ordered it (which is a dye that you have to mix with water after measuring out the ingredients), what a faff! I had it everywhere! It smells like cut grass and it's as green as grass which reminded me of The Grinch when I applied it to my hair! After initially carrying out a strand test which turned out light blonde, I went full steam ahead for my next application and left the mixture on for nearly 2 hours thinking it would eventually turn golden blond as listed on the box. Nope! I'm now sporting orange / blonde hair after trying to wash out the initial colour of bright orange. As you can imagine the colour was a dreadful shock after being pure white for 6 months. It did go a little lighter when I dried it and hopefully it will lighten up with each wash. The colour is awful and looks cheap , truly awful

Really good, natural hair colour. Scary at first as a rich green colour, I have light blonde hair with very grey roots and the golden blonde tone, coloured it very well, 1 lighter blonde would be an ideal addition to the range for me. Bit newsy to apply, and long development time, they recommend between 1-3 hours, I did 45mins as first time using it and was being cautious. I have longish hair, just past shoulders and mixed up 1 and half packets of the 2 supplied, and 1 would of been plenty enough, had loads kept over, which makes this a very economical purchase, esp as my hair has beenvthinning and wanted a natural product. Highly recommend this product and will def purchase again

After using box dye for most of my adult life, my hair was in very bad condition so I wanted to ditch the chemicals and transition to an all natural hair care routine. I really like this product, my hair feels so healthy, and it has helped me to even out my hair colour during the awkward transition from light blonde box dye to my natural colour, which is dark blonde. It’s important to be realistic about your expectations though. This product isn’t a straightforward swap from a box dye, and you’re not going to get the same results. You have to consistently use this, and build up the colour over time, rather than have instantaneous change. It is messy - I am lucky enough to have a bath with an inbuilt shower, so I sit in the bath to apply the mix, wrap my hair in a plastic shower cap and then shower off myself and the bath afterwards. You do have to invest more time and effort if you want to go down the henna route, but, for me, it’s certainly worth it. I can see why this wouldn’t work for everyone though!

Just doesn’t really work. More of a wash in wash out thing. Right old faff having to mix it up and apply without a bottle. Doesn’t even touch greys. Don’t bother.
