Good for motorbikes. *by J***L on 29 April 2021* This lock is very sturdy. In London angle grinder attacks are the norm - for this they would need to make two cuts through 18mm steel, that's quite a bit (takes about a minute total according to youtube, compared to about 30 seconds for something like the Kryptonite evolution). It is very heavy though. At 2kgs, that's 25% extra weight on my 8kg bike frame. It doesn't come with a bracket and it'd be too heavy for a backpack. If you were going to bring it everywhere, you might have well just have bought a cheaper, heavier bike and a cheaper, lighter lock - you'd have the same overall weight! So, my everyday lock is a Kryptonite Evolution, which is strong enough to deter most attacks and weighs just 1kg. This lock is used as a second D-Lock for max security when I know I am going to high risk areas. For that it's perfect I recommend it overall if you know you need something this secure. Although bear in mind it can still be cut with an angle grinder and lockpikinglawyer on youtube shows it's fairly easy to pick the lock, so it's strong but not impenetrable.
