Yes, I'm of that age. These work well but do look very ma-mawish. I blouse my shirts over them so they don't show. I'm old but danged if I want to look it.

I like these to 'cinch up' skirts and dresses to make them fit better. I recently lost quite a bit of weight (my own choosing) and these really help to transition through the sizes to make clothes fit better. They are all very pretty...certainly better that regular safety pins. Would make for nice touches to coats, jackets or sweaters as well. Would recommend.

These are amazing! From courtains to jeans you use them for so many things in so many ways. Ans it is a great variety on sizes , style and colors. I love them!

These are beautiful - when I opened the box I was so excited - well made -- HOWEVER - such a bummer because the fasteners are extremely BLUNT ! So it is really hard to poke them through any cloth at ALL !! It put a BIG hole in a tee shirt material so I cannot imagine putting it on a thick material - - My husband has grinding machines in his shop after looking at the pieces says he can sharpen them to a point - so if you don't have someone to do that I'd skip these lovely pieces :-(
