This kit really has everything you need to start. The pot is really good, you can easily heat up your beads on max temperature, then decrease to lower degrees to keep the wax melted at right degree. The box of spatulas will last for long, which is a good bonus. The kit comes with prep lotion, after use lotion and pot cleaning agent. Bottles are quite generous. The only minus for me is the hard wax beads. They worked well on my facial hair, but did not work on my legs. I think only because I need different wax beads for my legs.

So easy to use. Amateur here! I recently moved and haven’t found a new waxing salon yet so bought myself a kit. Most difficult part is getting used to applying the wax precisely but I practiced on my leg a little and then managed an entire Hollywood wax myself. I am genuinely amazed as I’ve never even attempted this myself before and was shocked at how perfect it turned out. Result is just as good if not better than the salon - granted it took me a lot longer doing it myself but so worth it! Would 100% recommend. I have course hair and had no issues with the wax it came off as it should, I spread it generously so that it properly covered any hair. Suitable for sensitive bits and bobs. Just make sure you pay attention to the direction of hair growth as I mixed this up once or twice and that’s where it hurt trying to pull it off! Heater is effective and not too bulky and the creams are also good for someone like me with sensitive skin.

Okay so I want this review to be fair so I have used this a few times. The kit has everything you would need and its good quality but it does take some getting used to. I imagine if you are a pro at waving at home then you will have no issues. Once you get the hang of the peelable wax with regards to getting a hold of it to be able to peel it off and also the right thickness and time frame then it is much easier but there definitely is a knack to it so don’t expect it to go perfectly the first time. I have only used on my lip and eyebrows so far!

This product is easy to use. Really like the heater and it heats up very quickly and I like that you can set it so it maintains a skin-safe temp. The post and pre care gels felt really good on the skin, not sure if they’re necessary as I feel like pure aloe Vera could’ve done the job but I enjoyed it none the less. My only issue would be the waxing beads as sometimes it takes a bit to long to become solid on the skin but other than that it removed all of my unwanted hair. Overall it’s definitely worth the money as you get so much for £40, it’s my first time buying a professional wax kit after using the Veet microwave waxed and I love it! Comes with a 6month guarantee which is handy too.

Useful to have the heater as previously used microwave, would be handy to have a shave plug option as I wax in the bathroom. No heat setting / time to give ideal consistency for the provided wax, which is baffling. The mee wax was terrible though, did not dry to a consistency that could easily be pulled off, the wax just stretched, and took ages to get to that point which is not ideal for the positions you need to get into for a Brazilian wax! Have not really used the additional bottled products yet. Likely to use the heater again, but would not buy the wax again

I bought this for my partner as I wax her legs regularly and have been using soft wax with strips until I thought I would give this a go. So much easier to use, especially when using a heater (get one if you don't have one as it takes all the randomness out of using pan of water or microwave and reheating). Smells great, easy to apply and dries in seconds so you aren't waiting long like I thought you might. She says it is much less painful than soft wax too as it doesn't stick to skin anything like soft wax does. Far less messy apart from the odd stringy bit, but as its not actually sticky its not much of a problem - ever dropped soft wax on the carpet or clothes!? - only a few bits of wax left behind which scratch off easily enough or apply a new blob of wax to do it. If you get the full kit then the pre and post lotions are good too as well as the cleaner.

The heater is fantastic, but the mylee wax beads are not fantastic. I'm a new to home waxing but the wax just wasn't adhering to the hairs very well and it didn't leave my legs feeling smooth. In some cases it snaped the hairs or didn't remove them. I found a better qualify wax beads for the same price.
