They were easy to put together but its just that there were so many pcs to put together nothing came preinstalled. But if you have help the assembly time would go so much faster, again not that its hard and you need a second person for this job just that they can build one drawer while you are working on the other. This unit was nicely packaged, not a single piece missing or damaged., the mirror came nicely protected. There was extra hardware included in mine.
