Noticeable Results
Switched from a battery-powered toothbrush to this about six months ago and my teeth feel cleaner and don't look as yellow. My dentist even commented that I was taking better care of my teeth. It goes more than two weeks between charges, fits compactly in a carry-on, and the timer is helpful. I especially like the different brush heads that are available, particularly the flossing brush. I believe it to be a good value considering its effectiveness. Wish I'd gotten it sooner.

Good Flosser. Easy to use and Keep Clean.
This replaced my Air Flosser which I sadly miss. The Air Flosser is discontinued, so when I needed a replacement, I turned to the water flossed. The unit it very easy to assemble. The water tank removes easily and is a breeze to clean. The stream is good, but is neither overly strong or too weak. The unit is easy to hold, but you need to tilt your head over the sink to prevent water from getting on the floor. Time will tell tell regarding any charging issues as I only gave it for 5 days. So far I am satisfied, but I wish Phillips would bring back the Air Flosser.

Works well, but choose one that is portable. Like this
I'm new to water flossers. But I like this one. Couple things for those you don't know. Basically this is a high pressure garden hose you put in your mouth. Big fan of this one because it's cordless. If you want to bring it in the shower with you, you can. They're pretty messy because you've got a garden hose in your mouth. Its simple to use. Fill the reservoir up, plug in the sprayer head and turn it on. The reservoir quantity seems fine. It'll run for maybe a minute with that. If you need to fill it up again, you can easily. There are different settings. I run it on the highest setting, but the pressure feels fine. Its seems to make the teeth cleaner. I can imagine if you had braces using this would be very helpful. I don't believe it replaces flossing but would seem complementary. I think it would be definitely something you would want to add to your daily routine. P51.

Still Not As Good as the Original
I held off buying this one for about 3 or 4 years because the price, plus reviews, of every iteration has been only about 50/50. Go back about 8 years and I purchased the first version - which I absolutely loved! The way the flosser delivered the water almost in strong puffs or bursts made it easy to use, really helped target between the teeth, and felt more like regular flossing. The problem is that for almost $100, the units broke or wore out after about 12 to 18 months. I bought 2 units - 1 after the first broke, and then finally gave up and went back to regular flossing when the 2nd died. I finally decided to try some more water ‘flossers’, but after 2 different types from other companies, they felt more like waterpik type systems which I find really distracting, with too much water and not enough direct targeting. This new unit had all the buzz words to make me think they finally came back with a more robust version of my favorite, so I decided to spend the money again. Is it a reincarnation of my favorite? Not quite. It has a more defined stop and go feel like the old version, but it’s much wetter. More of a blend between the old while using the streaming of a waterpik type device. It’s better than some of the other brands I tried, but not enough that it makes me eager to use it every day. I’m still playing with the settings, but it doesn’t have the same feel. I do like that you can now take the entire body apart to fill the water reservoir vs having to use the small hatch. Overall, it’s ok. But it’s not the model I loved no matter how many times they talk about the ‘burst’ system. I wish they would bring the old one back. I’m hoping that this one at least lasts longer.

Great Product
Works very well. You will use all the water in the reservoir during each use, so refill the reservoir after using so the water will be room temperature for the next use. Excellent pressure and does a thorough cleaning job. Easy to pack if going out of town. Very quiet and I love the color!

Messy and not very effective
My dentist recommended getting a waterpik for cleaning my gums; I saw this one and thought it might be more effective at that job. It's not. It has a poor design, especially for the price, and it's a genuine pain in the neck to use. First, the water reservoir doesn't hold enough water to actually get through a complete cleaning (unless you're missing a lot of teeth). You'll be refilling it at least once during a cleaning, which means you have to turn it off, unhook the reservoir, fill it, and resume. Second, it's incredibly messy; when you turn it on you expect water to shoot out of the cleaning head (naturally), but it also shoots out of a hole in the back of the unit, spraying your hand, the wall, or whatever else gets in the way. I've learned to position a finger over the hole so that most of the water doesn't escape, but there doesn't seem to be a way to stop the leaks. I'm not sure why it's dong this, but it's aggravating. Third, the stream of water really isn't strong enough to do much flossing, possibly because half of it is flowing out the back of the unit and reducing the water pressure. Even the "deep clean" setting is too weak. Fourth, the unit is thick and a little heavy, not a great idea for smaller hands, and the position of the controls on the handle make it difficult to actually see the settings when you're trying to use it. You're supposed to start it up with the nozzle facing the sink, then apply it to your mouth, which guarantees spraying water over something. I've learned to start with the nozzle in my mouth to keep things neat. Fifth, it comes with two different cleaning heads, and neither one really seems to do a great job. You're supposed to store the other head inside the reservoir--there's a little hole where it fits--but the slightest bump dislodges it so it sinks to the bottom of the reservoir. Sixth, it isn't quiet at all--I have a Sonicare electric toothbrush that's been criticized in reviews for being too noisy, and this thing is at least twice as loud. Seventh, it doesn't come with any kind of a charging stand, but instead requires that you pull up a rubber cover and insert the specialized charging cable into the device. I really can't recommend it. If you need a water-streaming device to clean your gums, look elsewhere.

Does not pulse; bulky
I followed the instructions carefully but could not get the spray to pulse. Even if it did pulse, I am not sure I would like it. My mouth was flooded with water on the lowest setting. In addition, I find the size to be bulky to hold. This was replacing an earlier Philips model that stopped working after a number of years of happy use. The older one is slim like an electric toothbrush. I went to Ebay and bought a new in the box duplicate of the one that stopped working. I see now from reading other reviews that this is a water flosser and my previous one is an air flosser. The air flosser shoots air mixed with water. It does an excellent job. An air flosser can have a smaller water tank and a slimmer profile. Pluses to me.

Charging challenges, Not good value for money
The product was good, but the packaging came soaked. Since the inside wasn’t really damaged and the product was new, I accepted. Philips has changed the charging port to a more proprietary charging port like the Philips chargers ( as available in Dubai with the C charging port) which is inconvenient as I’ve discarded the charging wire assuming it is a C port! My fault but while most are moving towards the universal C port ( including Apple), Philips wants to move away! Else the product is good, but not really value for money with cheaper, equally good variants available.
