Nuby Baby's First Spoons - 3 Pack

This set of 3 spoons is the perfect starter set for a baby learning to eat solids. At first I tried feeding my baby purees with a regular plastic kid's spoon, but the scooped design made it challenging for my baby to get the food out with her mouth. These Nuby spoons are flat so that baby food is easily accessible for a baby learning to eat from a spoon. My baby loves the texture of the spoons and they're small enough for easy holding. The stage 1 and stage 2 spoons have textured little bumps on them which are great for baby to gnaw on. Each spoon is for a different solids stage and they are all a different color which makes them easy to identify. It's a great value and would make a perfect gift.

Just purchased these to try with my 4.5 month old son. We are starting to introduce oatmeal/cereal and these looked like a good option. Look and feel like good quality. Seems like they will be easy to hold. Have not used yet but excited to try!

These things are amazing! Seriously, I thought they were goofy when I first saw them, but when my little one refused to be fed due to teething pain I bought them. He loves feeding himself! I set all three spoons down in a dish with his puréed food and he grabs one and teeth’s on it till all the flavor is gone then switches to the next one. Eating his meals is now his favorite activity, he has a blast with it! He’s eating so much better and gets the benefit of something to teeth on.

Love these little spoons for my baby. We started using them around 5-5 1/2 months (had already introduced him to some veggie purées at this point) but changing to these spoons really was a game changer at this stage. It was much easier to get him to take bigger, fuller bites bc of the flatness of the spoon. And once he realized how his little hands fit around these, he started to try to become a little more independent, wanting to feed himself, which was easy for him with these! They are not very long, which in our case is great bc he would just shove his other spoons in his mouth and gag himself🤣 so don’t have that problem with these. They’re silicone too, so they also have double-use as teethers (at least in our household, he just loves them🤭). Even being silicone though, they do not bend like other silicone spoons, which I personally love bc he is unable to bend them to the point of breaking like others we’ve had. They’re surprisingly durable. The light blue and red are very easily interchangeable. I don’t find much difference in the use of them when it comes to purees/anything similar, it’s just personal preference or whichever one is clean in our case haha but the dark blue is definitely best used for semi solids such as scrambled eggs, etc. The shape at the end of the dark blue one is completely open, there’s no mesh or any covering like that, so food can easily squeeze through that “hole” as they’re eating (ew) lol. But I’ve noticed this helps with his gagging reflex when trying more solids with new textures since the food doesn’t just sit on top of the spoon when they take a bite like the others, but instead kind of squishes through and out the bottom of it when they take a bite, breaking the food up a little more which helps with texture! Anyways, didn’t intend to be this detailed over spoons😂 But we’ve had them since November (around 5 1/2 months old) and use them daily and are now in mid-February (about 8 1/2 months old) and still love them just as much! Oh, and we have a billion other baby utensils, but these are still his (and our) fav!

These are a great size for our one year old’s hands. The food (like mashed potatoes and refried beans) sticks to them really well. The only negative is that some foods (like puréed carrot) stain the clear part quickly.

Great for a kids first spoons! I like how the handles are shorter so it is easier for them to hold them. I think it should come with 5 spoons for the price though.

These spoons have been a life saver for our 7 month old who has not been interested in food! Bring able to feed himself with these spoons have made all the difference at meal time! He loves to hold them and chew on them! He can easily get them into his mouth even with food on them! They have worked surprisingly well for both purees and introducing regular foods that need a spoon!

We've only tried the earliest spoon with our 4-month old, which has worked well so far. Really easy for the baby to grasp, and retains a good amount of food.

Small enough for their little hands and so you don’t put too much food in their mouths
