VonHaus Natural Adirondack Chair - Outdoor Acacia Hardwood Garden Chair & Teak Oil Finish - Durable Weather Resistant Wood for Patio & Deck - Wide Arms & Ergonomic Sloped Back - Hudson

These chairs are excellent. They took me just over an hour to set them both up following the advice here - only hand tighten all the nuts before you fully assemble it. Becomes obvious when you’re on the final section and if you’d tightened all the screws and bolts before the end things just wont align up. Also, don’t fit the bar first… it makes attaching the arm rest supports to the seat section quite tricky (considering the position of the nylon washer) so do that once the arm rest supports have been attached. Out of the box, this chair is a piece of cake to assemble (notes above!) and we were drinking gin and tonics in under 2 hours. I’m quite a big chap and found these chairs extremely comfortable. Wife likes them as well so win win! I can see these getting better with age when treated often with some good wood oil (teak).

Love the look and it’s comfy too.

Before I express any criticism I just want to say that this chairs are super comfy. The backrest is profiled very well same for the seat. They also look very stylish and posh (if you bothered with such things). With regards to assembly it's another story. Please make sure that you have some linen (or olive) oil, sanding paper, wood glue and some power tolls. I have bought two of them and both had similar issues: - poor finishing with rough surfaces that required sanding, polishing and protecting with oil - one of the side parts was partially broken (wood split that required gluing) - many holes were drilled poorly and required milling machine to fix it (then protecting with oil) - one of the threads in the nut was broken so I had to re-thread it - armrest holes are drilled a bit too far, so you need to put a lot of force and bend the wood to align them with the frame - missing screws on seat and backrest - some steps in the manual could be in different order to make assembly easier The assembly itself would be actually quite straightforward if the quality of components and drilling alignment would be better and more consistent on all parts. So if you are lucky you may not have any of the above issues at all. All in all I think that this is still good value for the money if you have patience and some DIY skills.

I found the chairs of decent quality and finish, good value for the price paid, I would buy them again. There was a couple of minor imperfections but not easily noticed. Excellent communications from the seller but the delivery via Evri could have been better. The chairs come partially assembled (the back and seat) and have adequate instructions on assembly. I read the other reviews prior to purchase and I did not encounter any assembly problems with the plastic spacer washers that are situated between most parts. My advice is to turn the chair on it's side (on a blanket or carpet to avoid damage), locate the washer over the hole on top of the lower part of the frame. If the washer moves whilst trying to locate the bolt fixing then have a piece of card handy to slide in-between the parts to re-allign it over the hole, you should have a clear view if the chair is on its side. move the chair from one side to the other depending on which side you are locating the fixings. Also do NOT completely tighten the fixings as you assemble, ensure all the fixings are located before fully tightening.

Love these chairs. Easy to assemble Very comfortable to sit in Would recommend

Great quality chairs at a great price. Really comfortable and the arms are wide enough for drinks !

Two chairs were purchased. Easy to assemble, looks more expensive and comfortable to sit in. Why the poor review ? One chair came without fixtures….extremely poor customer service. Chairs arrived in June . After weeks of back and forth communication. They finally were able to send missing fixtures only to have an incomplete set , still missing bolts. Excellent product if you don’t have to contact customer service with a problem. Buyer beware!!

The chair itself is very comfortable and looks superb. It arrived on time but with inadequate packaging. This resulted in minore damage to one of the front slats where it fixes to the base. I was able repair this myself and it is not visible so does not spoil the overall look of the product. The screw fixings were also two parts missing. As I didn't want the hassle of returning such a large item, I replaced them myself. Fortunately they were of a wood screw type which I was able to obtain relativley easily. All in all a very nice product for the money, let down by poor packaging and poor quality control.
