Writing the review after 6 months of use. Was looking for a one cable input adapter for my laptop to connect to two displays via HDMI and also charging the laptop at the same time. Found this to be well priced for what it offers and decided to give it a go. Since the laptop is running Windows, it is very flexible when it comes to display settings and arrangements of desktops. I'm running 3 displays, primary is laptop and other two are extended via this adapter. All 3 running at 60Hz FHD resolution. Setting it up is fairly straightforward. Plug HDMI Inputs to the adapter and then connect the adapter to your laptop's type C port and then connect the charging cable to the adapter. Use the mirroring option on Windows to extend or duplicate the display and that's it. You might need to set up the display settings in Windows but it is one time task. One peculiar thing which I have observed is that if you plug the charger cable to adapter before connecting it to laptop then it sometimes just charges the laptop and does not connect to monitors. Simple solution is to connect the adapter to laptop first then connect charging cable to adapter. There is absolutely zero mouse lag among the displays and thanks to Windows I can put different scaling ratio for each display as well. When it comes to charging functionality, my laptop supports max 65W through usb C. Routing the charging through this adapter, I did not observe any drop in charging speeds nor any issues with the displays when charging was passing through the adapter. Though the adapter becomes quite warm under this setup but nothing alarming and since the adapter body itself is made out of metal the heat dissipation is better and so is the build quality. Only one complaint I have is the length of adapter's USB C cable. 10 inch length is way too short due to which I keep the adapter on desk. It is not possible to tuck away the adapter behind the monitors for clean desk look. Not a problem for me but a longer cable would have better for cable management. Added photos will help you understand the length perspective. All said and done I have no issues about this product and it is an excellent one port solution to multi display setup with power passthrough if your laptop supports it. Cheers!

There were issues with my Thinkpad T490 as only one monitor worked at a time. I received very good help from Wavlink's technical support and they offered to refund since all troubleshooting didn't help. However, I happened to upgrade to Thinkpad T14 which is working fine. Both HDMI connected monitors are working well. I'd recommend this product not only for its quality but also for the after sales support by the Wavlink team.

I purchased this splitter as I had the requirement of having three different displays from my laptop … This splitter serves that purpose without any lag or disruption .. The resolution remains intact and ur monitor just needs to support what the laptop pushes .. In my case the laptop pushes Full HD content and was able to obtain the same resolution on both the external monitors…

Has a heating issue....Adapter will get heat within 5min apart from this rest all working super

It works as expected, supports dual monitors with extended display. Provided you take type c port in ur laptop

Worst product does bot recommend, it will not works for MacBook and even it has pretend that it works doe mac in thumbnail, worst product.

I received this through Amazon's Vine program in exchange for an honest review. When working, every few months I have to travel, but I hate working just from my laptop. I need dual monitors, separate keyboard and mouse, the full setup really. This little dock does exactly what I need by providing power to my laptop and dual monitor connections. Going to any location, I can easily set up my laptop and be working like it was a full station in a matter of minutes now. I know there's many different types of these out there, but this one at least I have tested works as intended and am happy for having this over the past month now.

I bought 2 other hdmi adapters for my Samsung android phone and they were underwhelming. This adapter is by far the best adapter I own. The image is true 4k. Even my phones home screen is so vivid on the tv. I was speechless at the clarity and colors. Not even my official apple hdmi adapter with my iPhone looks as good. It works with every app I’ve tried. It even works with the ESPN app which my official apple hdmi adapter doesn’t support. I’m truly blown away by this adapter. Not to mention the fact it has dual 4k hdmi ports. The build feels great. Has some weight to it and doesn’t feel cheap. Very good craftsmanship. I love this thing!

While this adapter doesn't mention Chromebooks, I was able to setup for demo purposes at a store dual 1080p monitors off of one USB-C port on a Chromebook. Both monitors were just 1080p, but the manual and listing I trust does say if you use two screens, it would not do 4K 60Hz on both, so more for office or home use rather than a powerful graphics output. It does feel well enough for the price, but I have felt more sturdy cases on other adapters. It does make it a bit lighter, however, so for travel it works and does what it says!

This adapter authentically looks nice and feels durable and metallic. It has good weight for a small adapter but not heavy. The cord is braided and flexible. It is plug and play, no issues being detected by laptop. The video image resolution is clear at 4k resolution and does not flicker. With its power pass though, it save precious laptop ports. The size is small enough for you to carry everyday and leave it in your backpack or laptop carrying case. Overall, this is a nice video adapter in my opinion, and a quality hardware but not a hub.
