Solid, quality piece of gear. Pot is smooth and quiet. I do wish it attenuated the signal a little more, but it does tame the output acceptably well. Definitely would buy again if needed.

This volume pedal is hands down the worst purchase I have ever made in my life. Worse than the gas station burrito that had me on the toilet for 9 hours. It does not have any volume until it it turned ALL the way up, it immediately drops to no volume at just a touch of the dial. It also just drops out for no reason. Like the burrito, total crap.

I bought this for my guitar multi-effects pedal so I can easily control volume without having to menu-dive inside the pedal or use the app. There is no global volume control on my pedal - plus it's going into my guitar amp's effect's loop - which means I have no control over the volume because the effects loop is 100% all the time - so I tried this. Works like charm! I set all the patches in the effects pedal to the loudest volume I would need and then I can turn it all down from there to find the level I like. This item does NOT amplify - it allows you to control the volume that's already there.

This is a pretty simple gadget in concept. A volume control, which I purchased for purposes of putting this between my stereo amplifier and my headphones. But I'm impressed. Solid, hefty fashioned out of a block of aluminum. Like the three bears story, not too big, not too small, just the right size. It operates smoothly without introducing any noise. In the world of 1/4" jack cables, this is the McIntosh or Marantz of volume controls.

Very good construction. It works well at adjusting headphone audio. Stereo and mono. I was hoping to use this to adjust the output of a guitar pickup between guitar and amp. That is, adjust the instrument level output. Description shows a guitar in the uses. I tried many guitars and many cables. When the control is inline it will adjust the guitar output from zero, turning the knob to max provides about 1% of the output with the control removed from between guitar and amp. I was hoping to control the output of an acoustic guitar humbucker pickup that does not have its own level control. An adjustment of 0 to 1% does not work in this case. Does not work as a mic level output control either. Even the buzz when touching the open cable end at instrument is highly attunuated when control is inline and at max output.

I got this to serve as a volume control for my guitar amp set up, between the return of the fx loop and a modeler. Very nice modeler, newer tube amp combo, just doesn’t have a master volume when connected this way. i needed something quality and reluctantly tried this due to its low cost. I am absolutely blown away by how solid the construction is, the box and dial are very durable, the scroll of the volume wheel is precise and smooth, no noise, input and output jacks are solid, box has nice weight and very rugged. This worked for me very well to my surprise.

These items work but not for very long. Very disappointed as I really needed them for my stage shows so I could cut back on some of the power to specific speakers

This little box is saving me from going deaf. I have a small home recording studio. My set up only allows for a single headphone mix, so I have to split my headphone output into 2 sets of head phones....One for myself (the engineer/producer) and one for the artist I'm recording. Inevitably, the artist always wants their headphones blaring loud, so I'm stuck with having to kill my ears with their loud headphone mix...UNTIL I bought this little volume knob! I now have a way to turn down my own headphones to a comfortable level, while letting the artist have their headphones so loud their ears bleed. I should've bought this thing years ago.

Funziona benissimo, quando il volume è a 0 si sente del ronzio ma appena superata la posizione minima scompare. State attenti alla dimensione dei jack che collegate perché l’oggetto è piccolissimo e i due fori sono proprio adiacenti.

Wegen der 6,3 Klinkenanschlüsse ist es genau das Richtige im Musikerbereich.Ich benutze um einen Lineausgang eines Gitarrenverstärkers zu reduzieren um einen anderen Gitarrenverrstärker anzuschliessen.Eigendlich handelt es sich nur um ein Potentiometer,welches das Signal an Masse setzt,allerdings mit einem wichtigen Feature:Wenn das Poti auf Null ist,ist das Signal nicht komplett an Masse sondern wird hier entkoppelt.Anders würde das zu regelnde Signal ja kurzgeschlossen und das ist nicht gerade gut für Lineausgänge.Für um die 20€ kann man sagen,dass man das nicht billiger selbst basteln kann,man braucht ja 2 Klinkenstecker,1Poti,Potiknopf und ein Gehäuse.Ich habe es vorher mit Altbauteilen getan und muss sagen,dass es auch klanglich nicht so neutral funktionierte.Ich kann das Teil nur empfehlen.
