Seems great and not too pricey
This brand was recommended to me by another foster mom and so far, I like it! I feed it to my 13 lb austrailian silky terrier and my foster dog who is 47 lb chow chow. They both gobble it up, both are able to chew it properly (although the chow chow kind of vacuums it up). I mix this flavor with the Salmon flavor together. Very pleased and I've noticed much less paw licking (which I was told is a sign that the dogs were allergic to the old food I was giving them).

A Quality Grain-Free Option My Husky Enjoyed
I have a Siberian Husky, so I'm always interested in trying high-quality dog foods with simple, wholesome ingredients. We transitioned to this Whole Earth Farms Grain Free Chicken Recipe gradually over several days, and my dog had no trouble making the switch. She was excited at mealtime and consistently cleaned her bowl, which is always a good sign with a food she's never had before. The kibble size is well suited for medium to large dogs, and it has a fresh smell without being overly strong or artificial. I appreciate that chicken is the primary protein source and that the recipe is grain free, while still including fruits, vegetables, and other thoughtfully selected ingredients. The ingredient list gave me confidence that this is formulated with nutrition in mind rather than relying on unnecessary fillers. Over the time we used it, I was happy with how well my dog tolerated the food. Her energy level stayed consistent, and I didn't notice any digestive issues during the transition or afterward. Her coat continued to look healthy and soft, which is especially important for a breed like a Husky with a thick double coat. While every dog responds differently to food, this one agreed with her very well. As with any new dog food, I'd recommend introducing it gradually over several days to help avoid stomach upset. It's also important to choose a formula that's appropriate for your dog's age, size, and dietary needs. Overall, I found this to be a well-made dry food with quality ingredients, and most importantly, my dog genuinely enjoyed eating it. Based on our experience, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it again for my Husky or recommend it to other dog owners looking for a grain-free option.

Excellent ingredients. 5 of 5 dogs like it, zero digestive trouble. Corn, soy, wheat free!
I've been trying a few specific dog foods lately. I'm looking for a grain free, soy free, corn free, natural, very high quality food that is made in America that I can add to our regular high quality kibble. I want a back up option food that my dogs are already accustomed to eating in case our regular choice is unavailable for some reason. The Whole Earth Farms is a good choice and running a close second place right now. The Chicken and Turkey version has been popular with all of my dogs when mixed in with their regular food and water. Offered as a simple dry treat, every dog here has happily taken pieces of this kibble. A week of eating this produced no intestinal upset and zero flatulence in any of the 5 dogs. (That is a big deal because my dogs do not have gas regularly - they have very stable digestive systems) I would feel comfortable switching to this food if we needed to.

No longer good, gave dogs gas + diarrhea
My dogs have been on this for 5 years. The last year it has given my my large dog explosive gas and diarrhea, when I say explosive, I mean the neighbors hear it. We took our dog to the vet twice and he is in good health. The issues kept going on we couldn't figure it out. I got a new puppy and we started him on this puppy food. 2 days in the puppy had the same explosive gas and diarrhea. Its this food. I just changed to blue wilderness healthy grains, and both dogs are fine now. I thought maybe I got sent an old batch,, but I buy from petco also with same results.. For many years this food was a great product, and more affordable than others. After 6 months of my dog suffering, hundreds of dollars in vet bills I am more than happy to pay more for blue wilderness.
