The Spiritual Poems of Rumi

This book is such lovely quality and would make a really beautiful gift.Pages:The paper is thick and glossy, like the kind of paper photo books are printed on.Printing:The book is printed in full colour, and the pages are beautifully colourful. The colour saturation is good, and there is no fasting and no printing errors.Design:Each poem or quote is on a separate page. The pages are full colour and each of them is beautiful.Cover: The book is hard cover and the cover is beautifully designed, with some texture to it (slightly raised design).Size:It is wider than a usual book, but around the same height.Prose:The words chosen are beautiful and all to the same theme, as is suggested by the title. With each piece of prose having its own page, it is not too overwhelming. There is plenty of space around what is written upon which you could annotate or make notes if you wanted to, but the book is honestly so lovely I don’t think anyone would be able to bring themselves to write in it.SUMMARY:Really high quality. Beautifully bound and printed. Full colour, thick pages. A real treat to own and to flick through, and a very aesthetic addition to any book case or bedside table. Would make a fabulous gift, although I got this copy for myself.

The book is beautiful and the pages are glossy and colourful. I cannot comment on the poems as these will be a personal experience for the person reading them. If you don't enjoy them at first, put the book away and itcwill call you when you are ready to hear Rumi's wisdom. This would also make a delightful gift.

This was an interesting one for spiritual wording. These poems are so needed now. It doesn't matter when they were writen.

This is good as an introduction to Rumi and what he wrote

I heard about Rumi many years ago and never thought to look and see if there were any books of his work. I'm so glad I found them. I imagined myself sitting in his presence whilst reading them. I can personally relate to the verses especially after an accident I had a couple of years ago - "the wound is where the light enters". After that particular accident I certainly did seethe light. Not a bad price as books go

Absolutely beautiful book

Light touch for the beginner

Purchase as a gift for my sister who loves to write and particularly writes poetry. She loved it. I cannot comment on much else in terms of the content as we did not have that detailed a conversation about it

It's really good spiritual poem

I bought this as a Christmas gift and I am so impressed at the way the book looks. It is amazing value for money and is a truly beautiful book to have. I bought the whole series for myself after seeing this one,

Das Buch ist sehr schön gemacht mit tollen Mustern und Farben. Natürlich sind die Gedichte auch schön. Sicherlich zu empfehlen :)

Rilassa a leggerlo!

A beautiful compilation that is aesthetically pleasing and appealing to open, read and dip into.
