I have shaved with a Merkur steel safety razor for years. I have used blades from Merkur, Viking, and some others. I decided to try these because the price seemed excellent for 60 (!) blades. For my face and stubble, these are the best blades I have used. They are noticeably thinner than others, and boy are they sharp! It can be tough to get a very smooth shave from a single blade, but these leave my face smoother than I can remember from any safety razor blade. I have now shaved seven times with the first blade, and it is not yet noticeably duller: no scratching or dragging yet, and my shave is still as smooth. This is great because if the other blades wear this slowly also, I'll get well over a year of shaves out of this one pack. For the price, this is an unbeatable value. As a bonus, the pack says the blades are made in the Czech Republic, which I like so as not to always buy everything "Made in (well, you know where)". The packaging is also brown, thin cardboard and presumably less bad for our wastestream since the paper is not coated or laminated. Very highly recommended and I would definitely buy again. Appreciate such value-priced blades and being able to keep shaving with my trusty old Merkur.

Very good quality blades combined with the same safety razor gives me the best shave I have had in many years. I don't care for cheap disposable razors and the multi blade cartridges are far to expensive and I believe they don't provide a better shave.

Great blades! I recently switched to a safety razor, as I was getting annoyed buying disposables and using multi blade razors that caused irritation and didn’t get a close, clean shave. These are amazing! Very sharp and durable. If it’s your first time using a safety razor, I recommend these! It takes elective for sure but you’ll be shocked at how quickly you improve. Cuts bleed for a long time; I recommend shaving BEFORE you shower and in the shower the bleeding will stop with the warm/hot water and help with any irritation. My face has been baby soft and well groomed with these blades along with the Van Der Hagen traditional heavy duty safety razor.

Good, don't rust, good edges

Best performing blades I ever used and I tried just about every brand Amazon sells over the last 10 years. They effortlessly glide and cut your beard with no irritation, no nicks and no ingrown hairs. They are very thin and bendable like all quality blades should be, so they mold perfectly into the razor’s curvature for the correct cut angle. The thicker and stiffer a blade is the more it will drag on your skin, pull the hair and cut it bellow skin level causing irritation with an ingrown and/or associated pimple. I use these blades with my Mehaz Professional Solinger razor which I highly recommend. Some of the reviewers complained about how long “they last.” Perhaps they don’t know that DE safety razor blades are for single use only! Never use a blade twice trying to save 16 cents. Your face deserves more than that. In addition is nice to see they are made in EU/Czech Republic.

The Razors are nicely package and sharp for shaving. They fit perfectly into my single blade razor holder and adjust easily.
