This is a great option to not be shackled to batteries and wall outlets. It's a pump that litterally works at the press of a (pretty big) button. I conmected two standard tubes along with one of the little flex pieces so that it curves towards one side of the bottom of my 5-gallon jugs. That way, I can tilt it to get most of the last bit. It's definitely worth the price for me. It is also bigger than I imagined, but that is not a downside for me. I like that it's nice and sturdy. I seals pretty tight, but I don't really move it around too much. I've installed it on several different bottles as they run out and it still seals and works perfectly fine. When pumping water, the airflow makes a little kinda squeaky sound, but it's not louder than the sound of the water being dispensed. Before I bought this, I saw someone mention that it takes more pumps to get water once the water level gets lower. While this is true, it's not a dramatic difference and not difficult at all.

So far extremely happy with the quality and construction of this unit. So many products in this category have terrible reviews I have held off for a long time. I just put this together with a 5 gallon water jug on my countertop and couldn't be happier. The materials seem fairly rugged, and durable enough for everyday use. The pump delivers a respectable amount of water per cycle, so it does not feel tedious chilling a container. I had no problem attaching the pump to the bottle, the collar and lock ring fit perfectly and everything was simple and straightforward to attach and start using. For cons; the multi-part downtube is a poor design in my opinion, and looks like trouble waiting to happen with pieces dropping off inside the water jug. As is none of the tubing properly reaches the bottom of a 5 gallon water jug, either too long or too short depending on the pieces. I will have to cut one of the pieces of tubing to fully empty a 5 gallon jug, which is acceptable in my opinion; there must be a lot of different manufacturers and dimensions of bottles.

This works really well - and pumps a surprising about of water per push - particularly if you don’t “wait” for the flow to slow or stop before you push it again. It works rather like the “continuous” spray bottles - the ones that the more the handle’s pulled, the longer it continues to spray “on its own” while the triggers compressed. Almost like priming a pump, it seems to build up back-pressure. That’s the best I can describe it, though I’m sure the “mechanics” of it probably has a proper name. I haven’t used this long enough to rate its durability. I don’t expect any problems though. I’d only bought this to serve as a back-up, in case of power outages, for my water dispenser. As to the “universal fit”? - I’ve only used it on one type of bottle, but the way it attaches would seem to be easily adapted to others.

I believe this manual pump is worth the price. You can see in the pictures i've taken and the video that I made of the manual water pump. I bought it as extra because when we want a room temperature water.It comes straight out of the five gallon container at room temperature versus the water machine where the room temperature is a little bit cold. You can see the water flow when I pumped it in the video.It comes out nice and smooth.And solid and firm, it looks like it's all made of good constructed material.It's a good hard plastic, so it doesn't look like it's cheaply made and it functions very easily, you don't have to push down hard on it at all.Just a slight push, and the water starts coming out pretty fast.

Easy to set up, easy to use, easy to clean. They provide a tool to clean the inside of the tubes as well. The pump is manual of course but there’s no leakage. The first time I set it up and I put it on, there was leaking but that was kinda expected so I suggest you put a bowl or something down if you don’t want any spills but after that the only time water comes out is when I manually pump & it’ll immediately stop once I stop pumping. Performance wise, it does what it is supposed to do. It’s very versatile since you can combine the tubes to have it work for different water jugs. I have 5 gallon jugs so I had to attach two of the tubes & the set up was less than 5 minutes. I could easily go & rent a dispenser from ready fresh for $5/mo but I happen to like this better—you don’t need an outlet, it doesn’t take up a lot space (aside from your jug!) and it’s perfect! I love it!

This is a functional manual water pump that delivers a strong water flow and is easy to use once installed. Since it’s fully mechanical with no motor, the noise level is minimal and consistent with what you’d expect from a hand-powered pump. One drawback is that the top doesn’t stay securely in place and can come off at times, which makes it feel less durable than expected. Exceptionally good product. Works really well and much better than any battery powered pumps. Highly recommend.

SUPER BUENA RECOMENTABLE

I think this has to be the best $ I have spent for any camping equipment we have used it all summer from filling water bottles to doing dishes. The neck fits both jugs we have and is easy to assemble. The pump works like a charm and it’s easy for the kids to use to. Great product and great quality. Arrived early too!

Works well until there is just 2 inches of water left. Then it is very hard to get some pumping action going. Other than that is does the trick at camp!
