PRESSOGNO 60 Pack NESPRESSO Compatible (OriginalLine) Coffee Capsules (FORTE)

We've ordered this for a while and enjoyed. Then few months ago, they changed something. Now the coffee leak all over the counter and the flavor is different. The last time this happened we thought we just got a bad batch so we didn't order for a while. Then after a couple of months, I thought they may have refreshed the batch so we ordered again. bad mistake. They are the same. Still leaks every time. I think the more hot water leak more than coffee. We've tested with other company's pods so we know it's not the machine.Amazon customer service said that they are not returnable and told us to contact manufacturer. Amazon should CLEARLY mention that this is not returnable no matter what. even if they are defective.I don't think we will ever order from the same company or brands.

We've ordered Pressogno pods 10x now (a total of around 1200 pods) - we LOVE(d) them! I've not found a generic (non Nespresso brand) with a better balance of brewing and taste. Until today. We received our double order (120 pods) and as soon as I opened the first batch, I could tell the pod changed. The bottom (smaller side) is no longer foil, but some kind of foil/plastic. The first one through our Inissia failed to brew more than 50% of the normal cup size. Second one...same thing. I reprogrammed the machine for size and that didn't help as the machine struggled and at one point quit flowing alltogether. We have another brand of machine as well and it failed to brew as well. Total fail. I'm bummed that a) these cannot be returned and b) I now have to find another go-to brand. This was the "Forte" - not sure if the other flavors are impacted, but I'm not going to experiment to find out.

I've been buying the Fair Trade Pressogno (blue boxes) for almost a year and really like them. They aren't available at this time so I bought the Forte (red boxes) and find it quite tasty and robust. The Pressogno in the green boxes is more mild--not a criticism--sometimes you want medium blend coffee.I'm puzzled by the posts about bursting pods or problems in the Inissia. I find the Pressogno pods work BETTER than the original Nespresso and other pods in my Inissia because they're sealed with foil on the bottom and top. The Inissia has no problem piercing the foil seals; pods with plastic or aluminum bases occasionally fail in my machine causing the coffee to "drool" out.So, at the price all the Pressogno pods earn a solid five stars.

These are the bomb, the bees-knees, the best coffee-in-a-pod I have ever had. I am a coffee snob, a guy who likes great tasting coffee that is rich, strong, bold, and NOT over roasted. This is like a fine Italian coffee. Its smooth and balanced, Makes a great espresso or Americano in my Nespresso Citiz. Never had a pod not work. These are better than any other nespresso-compatible brands currently for sale here. And honestly, as good as Nespresso if not better!

This has been my favorite alternative to (expensive) Nespresso Pods. I have ordered these for over a year, with no complains...until the last 2 batches. The company decided to change its pods and simply put: It is horrible.I have more water on the tray in the Coffee Cup. It seems that the problem is that the current pod does not handle the machine pressure correctly, and there are water leaks everywhere... I even thought that was the machine, but I got pods from another brand and worked flawlessly...Did they even test their new Pods? In the past I would recommend these for everyone, unfortunately it is not the case anymore... I would not recommend these to anyone.

Not sure about the other flavors, or the "variety pack", but I can say that the FORTE pods are nowhere near the flavor of any nespresso pod that I have tasted. Not much of a crema and the flavor reminds me of old/stale coffee. I have tried it long and short. The longer brew is a little more better as it thins things out a little, but it is still not very good. The other flavors may be good as evidenced by some of the reviews here, but I cannot recommend the FORTE.

Waste of money. And, I believe it’s dangerous to use. It doesn’t fit right in Delonghi Nespresso. Every time I’m putting it into the slot I want to cry. It can destroy your coffee maker for sure. The plastic is too thin. After two or three capsules if you use it one after another, it slows down the brewing of the coffee. Also, every time I put it into the slot it doesn’t work right. I have to readjust it in the slot until I can see some coffee come out. Never buy it again.

Good for the price but I have to say I think the flavor of the regular Nespresso capsules is better than these. They fit fine in the regular Nedpresso machine - the capsules are plastic with foil at both ends where the water flows through.
