Uniden UM385 Marine VHF Radio, 25-Watt Fixed Mount, IPX4 Waterproof, White

I cannot say enough about the Uniden UM385 25-Watt Fixed Mount Marine VHF Radio! It has truly been a game-changer for our boating adventures, and I'm thrilled to give it a well-deserved 5-star review for its dependability. This radio is built like a tank. Its waterproof IPX4 rating ensures that it can handle the harshest marine conditions without breaking a sweat. Whether we're out in the open sea or encountering heavy rain, this radio has never let us down. Dependability is crucial when you're out on the water, and the UM385 has proven time and again that it can handle whatever Mother Nature throws its way. The Triple Watch feature is fantastic. It allows us to monitor the Coast Guard channel while also keeping an ear out for any other important communications. This added level of safety gives us peace of mind, knowing that we won't miss a critical message. The DSC (Digital Selective Calling) feature is a lifesaver. In case of emergencies, it allows us to send out distress signals with just a few button presses. The reassurance that we can call for help when needed is priceless. One of the standout features is the NOAA Weather Alert functionality. Being able to receive up-to-date weather information and alerts directly on the radio is incredibly valuable. It helps us plan our trips better and avoid potentially dangerous weather conditions. The wide range of supported channels, including all USA, international, and Canadian marine channels, is a huge plus. We can easily communicate with other vessels, marinas, and coastguards no matter where we are. The Memory Channel Scan feature is a time-saver. We can program our frequently used channels, making it effortless to switch between them quickly. It's a small convenience that makes a big difference in our overall experience. The Uniden UM385 25 Watt Fixed Mount Marine VHF Radio is a dependable, feature-rich radio that has greatly enhanced our boating adventures. Its rugged construction, Triple Watch, DSC, NOAA Weather Alert, and memory channel scan features make it a top-notch choice for any boater. We couldn't be happier with its performance, and we highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable marine VHF radio. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Installs easy waterproof great unit works well

Excellent product

I just purchased a second unit. The first unit lasted 5 years. After about three years the on off switch was a bit squirrely. In the fourth year I was transmitting but not receiving well. Eventually after 5 years it did not work consistently and since we go 20-30 miles off-shore I needed something that worked all the time. The new one works perfect and took only a few minutes to mount.

Esta de agencia, me gusta y a otros tambien...

Awesome uhf radio for my boat works great and great price

Works great!

Perfect! Works great and easy to install

Excelente Radio de Comunicación, lo instale en mi lancha y tiene muy buena recepción y el sonido de la bocina muy claro...

Absolutely perfect. Compact and easy to install. Had it up and running in less than 30 minutes. Clear, clean reception and plenty loud enough to hear over my inboard engine noise. Simple to use and fantastic that you can couple a GPS unit to the device to provide emergency coordinates. For the price I highly recommend this device.

I used to always buy the traditional communications radios from longtime brand names and never considered Uniden due to bad experiences with their portable house phones. Bought my son a Uniden CB for his truck and was very impressed with the reliability and quality. I needed another VHF radio for my boat so i went Uniden and WOW what a great unit for the price.
