Milk Thistle Powder for Cats - Liver, Kidney & Detox Support

So a little context My cat 1 year old 2 months was really sick one morning like throwing up more than 6 times in less than 6 hrs no blood just saliva and food. The vet took her to do some blood work and she is supposed to be on her liver levels between 0-100, she was at 300 so the vet give her some fluids and some medication for nausea but I still want to help her to be better so I look at this powder and 2 reviews that for theyr cats was a life-changing and im so grateful that they share their experience because I start adding the powder on her wet food for a week and took her back for a follow up and she drop to 125 still high but not 300!!! I felt so relief and even my vet asked me what did I do, i show him the powder and he said all the ingredients are really good for her and to keep giving to her. I have a follow up in 6 week I will comeback with the update

EVERY CAT IS DIFFERENT! Like humans, a lot of cats have preferences and can be picky. Your cat may like this, or may not. I have a super picky cat and took a chance on this and thankfully he loves the flavor a lot. I give it to him once a day with his nighttime wet food. His ALT levels have improved since his last vet visit. I highly recommend taking a chance on this if you can afford to.

Product does what it's supposed to do, but it has a horrible smell. My cat won't eat it unless I split up the dosage throughout the day.

My cat juju was losing weight rapidly and for a month I was giving him deworming medicine thinking he had worms. But he is an inside cat and I noticed when he ate he would drop the food out of his mouth and looked fatigued and not his normal self. Took to vet and they wanted to charge $10,000, put in a hospital 24 hr care and put him to sleep and force feed him! The vet stated there was no home treatment options because his health was so bad and also emailed me options for cremation. Vet mentioned he had yellow ears and skin and signs of Jaundice ! So I prayed about, read up on it and found this as a treatment option to help with liver. It’s a miracle, he’s about 80% back to his normal self and is eating a lot now. It’s sad that business just want to make money off you and they know there’s other options to save your loved one but do not mention because they want to make money! Thank the lord for showing me milk thistle and my baby (cat Juju) is here longer with us. Not sure for how long, hopefully more years! I would mix with table spoon of water and mix into wet pate food. I also bought milk thistle liquid drops and directly dropped in his mouth two times a day!

I was trying to use the product for the reasons it is advertised for. Other reviews said they mixed it in the animals food and the animal loved it. I tried that method and my cat wouldn’t touch her food. The directions say to give orally, so I mixed it with water and tried using a syringe to give it to her. The mix smells horrible and was obviously not good tasting because the cat resisted every time. Unfortunately this company has a no return policy, so I’m stuck with a product we can’t use.

Get a phosphate binder. I think this is a great supplement for liver disease but if you’re looking to help your kitty with kidney disease get a phosphate binder. With that being said, my cat does not particularly like this product. She won’t eat wet food no matter what we do, so I mix it in her kibble. This stuff is powder but gets hard and sticks together with time so you can’t leave it out unless you want one hard glob of kibble glued to the bowl. Unfortunately this doesn’t work for the lifestyle my kitty has decided to go with. Great brand though. High levels of milk thistle great for liver.

I recommend this product, it works 100%! I had noticed my cat not having energy to get up and eat. I was curious on why he wouldn’t get up so i went to the little corner he was in and picked him up & noticed that he had lost a lot of weight and he was stumbling when he would walk. I got super worried, I checked his ears and they were yellow so was his mouth , i got worried so i started researching, & found out it could be a liver problem & it’s deadly if it wasn’t treated. I didn’t have enough funds to take him to the vet so I kept looking online for what to help him with, I found this product and checked the reviews, I seen a review that popped up and I trusted them. My cat has been taking this for bout a week now & he has energy to eat , go outside , & even is asking for attention. It might not mean much but to me it’s everything! So I recommend this very much , size is decent & money wise it’s okay. But I do recommend this product to anyone looking for something for jaundice on cats!

Edit: He's been eating this daily mixed in a pate style wet food. He now has almost daily diarrhea, and I'm not sure I should continue this supplement... so I'm lowering my 4star rating My cat, you should know, will eat spaghetti squash, any cooked veggies, and most anything else. He kinda allows this. He's not happy, but he will eventually ingest most of whatever I added to the bowl. So not all bad. But since the vet never actually told me his liver testing numbers - and he's showing no signs of liver damage or disease, I will say he plays with less gusto on this supplement. Quite literally, he cares less about play and shows less energy when taking this. So... IDK, but I hope your vet tells you more than mine did.
