Hormex Rooting Hormone for Cuttings #1 - Gentle Powder (0.10% IBA)

Sometimes I use this to assist my succulents when I accidentally hurt a leaf..but it works wonders. Im happy with the ease of use size and quantity. I've had no leaks and it definitely shows when I use it. Thanks again!

It worked on one cutting but not another. I had some about 40 years ago and it always worked and never got old but got lost in a move so was looking for a replacement. I think it’s a good product but you’re not going to get every one to live!

I bought this for fun and tried it on a variety of plants. I read that it doesn’t work on roses but it works on mine. It works on rose cutting every time as long as they are younger stems. Also worked well with plumeria. Did not work with Empress Flower but I’m happy with the results I’ve gotten so far. Also put it in water of cuttings and seems to be working well.

Honestly, I don’t know if this works. I’ve tried three different cuttings and they’ve all died. It could be my black thumb, but I’ve raised other cuttings to adulthood before using this. It’s also kind of messy.

Works so well I love this stuff. Do not eat. Sometimes baby seals get eaten by sharks when they are learning to swim. I like dolphins a lot. Cats are the best.

I propagated blackberry starts this spring using this product & had great success! I clipped off a piece of blackberry vine with 4-5 buds on it, dipped this in water & then in the rooting hormone before placing the vine into soil with about 2 inches sticking out of the soil that had 1-2 buds on it. To my great pleasure, I successfully grew beautiful blackberry bushes with vines growing 8-10 feet by the end of summer. This product WORKS!!!!

I am happy with this rooting compound and have used it several times since purchasing it. I have successfully rooted roses and geraniums. I like that it sticks and stays on rather than falling off right away. The bottle is also very full so this will last me a long time.

Have used it yet. BUT was shocked when I saw the package!!! I received 3 packets the size of a seed packet. It better work because for the price it is a total rip off. There is no size mentioned and photo is misleading as it appears to be a bag rather then a packet. I could have gotten a 100 times more for that price here at the nursery. Will not buy again.

On May 27, 2020 I used this product to propagate African Violets. I had several leaves and planted some using the hormone, and some without. I clearly marked the clippings planted with hormone and the ones without the hormone. 5 weeks later, there is absolutely no difference in root development.
