Great compact iron
The Oliso M3Pro Project Steam Iron is an excellent iron for sewing, quilting, crafting, and everyday pressing. It has a nice balance of power, size, and convenience, making it especially useful for people who work on fabric projects and need a reliable iron close by. It feels well-made, heats up quickly, and delivers strong steam for such a compact iron. One of the best things about the Oliso M3Pro is its size. It is smaller than a full-size household iron, but it is still powerful enough to handle many pressing jobs. This makes it very convenient for quilting blocks, seams, appliqué work, small sewing pieces, and craft projects. It is easy to keep near a sewing machine or cutting table without taking up too much space. The steam performance is very impressive. It helps remove wrinkles and press seams flat, which is very important when quilting or sewing. The steam gives fabric a crisp, smooth finish, and the pointed tip makes it easier to get into corners, around seams, and into smaller areas that a larger iron may not reach as easily. I also like that the iron feels comfortable in the hand. It is lightweight enough to use for longer periods but still feels sturdy and stable. The handle is easy to grip, and the design makes it simple to control while pressing fabric. It glides nicely over cotton, quilting fabric, and other materials when used at the proper heat setting. Another great feature is how useful it is for project work. Whether you are pressing quilt blocks, seams, binding, hems, or craft materials, this iron makes the job easier. It is especially helpful when you do not want to pull out a large iron and ironing board for a small task. It is also a good option for sewing classes, retreats, or travel because of its compact size. The Oliso M3Pro also has a stylish, modern look. It feels like a premium tool rather than a basic mini iron. The quality stands out, and it seems designed with makers, quilters, and sewers in mind. Overall, the Oliso M3Pro Project Steam Iron is a wonderful product. It is compact, powerful, easy to use, and perfect for detailed fabric work. I would highly recommend it to quilters, sewists, crafters, and anyone who wants a dependable project iron that performs well without taking up a lot of space.

I love this little iron!
I love this little iron! It has the power and performance of a larger iron in a small, compact package. It truly does what it says it will do, and I have been very pleased with how well it works. I really enjoy using it and would highly recommend it for sewing, quilting, and other small projects.

Such a little gem!
Absolutely LOVE this little iron!!! I had originally purchased the Oliso M2Pro from a local fabric store (loved the Yellow color). Got a really good deal but after using it and reading the reviews/comparisions for the M2Pro & M3Pro I decided to try the M3Pro. The M3Pro is more money but the upgrades are significant. After surgery on my hand I don't have the grip/strength I used to and found that although the M3Pro is bigger, the handle has a better fit (less strain and fingers weren't as close to heat as they were on M2Pro). I liked that the cord rotated on the M2Pro but you couldn't reliably stand it up. The M3Pro definitely stands up but wish they would have allowed rotation when placing the cord on the side. Additional upgrades: auto shut off, easy press buttons, easy to see fabric selector/temp control and...sounds silly but the little light in front really makes a nice difference. I have not used the steam function (yet) but like that there are two options. I bought the iron mainly for use with piecing quilt blocks. Have also found that mini size to be perfect fit for ironing patches to fix pants (so much easier than regular size iron). It heats up quickly and retains the heat just like a full size iron. It feels very sturdy and I will enjoy using it for years to come. It really did simplify the pressing portion of my project as I was able to use it with my pressing pad so no need to get up and go to iron/ironing board. Just wish it came in yellow!

Great for jelly roll strip and quilting projects.
Lovely medium sized iron. Glides effortlessly across fabrics! Powerful steam ( not loud ) and wonderful light feature while you iron. Great product, couldn’t be happier.

Best Iron for Quilters
This is the perfect iron for quilters or anyone who sews. It heats up quickly and the auto shutoff is set for a longer period to accommodate the needs of quilters who need to sew and then press seams. It is lightweight and easy to handle. It uses ordinary tap water for steam and has 2 side buttons to press when you want steam so you can easily use it as a dry/steam iron. The best feature is the LED light. It is a fantastic feature that makes seeing and pressing 1/4" seams so much easier. I am very pleased with this purchase and recommend this iron.

Left-handed option for the cord is a game changer for this sewist!
I didn't need a new iron. I was taking a sewing class, and an Oliso dealer was demonstrating several irons and their special features. What sold me was that this iron's cord was convertible to the left side. For a left-handed person, ironing is always a challenge because the cord gets in the way, and I am constantly having to work around it. This can be hard when trying to press a very small area. The cord move was easy. Just a note: the instructions to do so are not included in the manual, and I would only have known this from the dealer demo. Another great feature of the iron is the headlamp. It has a small directional light at the top of the iron, allowing you to see exactly where you are pressing. It has two steam zones that can work independently or together and work both horizontally and vertically. The last thing this Iron has is a very nice sharp tip for pressing the inside of collars or tight spaces before turning them. This allows for a much sharper press in tight spaces. I purchased the smaller travel-size iron because it converts to left-handed. For everyday ironing, I would recommend a larger iron for better coverage, but for sewing and crafting, the size of this iron is perfect, and the added features make it a game changer for me. It is now my new go-to iron for pressing.

Makes ironing enjoyable…believe it or not!
Not only is this iron beautiful, it works great. I’m a quilter and use steam a lot. The amount of steam this iron produces is perfect. It heats up quickly. The cord is extra long, too. So many nice features. My only criticism is that the temperature dial is very difficult to read.

Compact Powerhouse Perfect for Sewing and Crafting Projects!
The Oliso M3Pro Project Steam Iron has been a game-changer in my sewing and crafting projects. Its design combines professional-grade performance with portability, making it an excellent choice for both at-home use and travel. With its 1000-watt power, it’s compact but mighty, delivering the perfect blend of heat and steam for precision work. This iron packs a surprising amount of power for its small size. The 1000-watt output heats up quickly and provides a steady, even steam that’s perfect for flattening seams, pressing fabrics, and setting projects. It’s especially handy for quilting and other fabric crafts where precision is key. The steam output is robust enough to handle wrinkles on various materials, from cotton to more delicate fabrics. The included Solemate silicone trivet is a fantastic feature. Not only does it protect surfaces from heat, but it also allows me to leave the iron face down without worrying about scorching. This is particularly useful during long sewing sessions when I need to quickly pick up and put down the iron frequently. The Solemate also has built-in storage for the iron, making it travel-friendly. The size and weight of the Oliso M3Pro make it highly portable and easy to maneuver, which is ideal for detailed, precise ironing work on crafting and sewing projects. It’s a perfect companion for anyone who wants to bring their iron to classes, quilting retreats, or simply save space at home. For crafters, sewists, and quilters, this iron is a dream. It combines professional features with a compact design, making it easy to get the precise, smooth results needed in fabric-based projects. And for travel? It’s compact enough to pack without taking up much space, which means you can enjoy professional pressing results wherever you go. The Oliso M3Pro Project Steam Iron is an impressive tool that makes quick work of wrinkles, crafts, and sewing projects alike. If you’re in search of a reliable, powerful, and compact iron that meets the unique needs of sewing and quilting enthusiasts, this is a solid investment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality in a smaller package!

LIGHT, STEAM and ACTION.
Ironing. For most, it’s a chore. For me? It’s my superpower. While others run from wrinkles, I chase them down like a caped crusader with a steaming wand. It all started with the Oliso Butterscotch—the large iron. A glorious beast of a press. Then came the M2 Mini. I mean, mini and mighty? Yes, please. Obviously, I had to adopt one. Fast-forward to the M3 in Avocado (because, obviously, green is the color of power and perfectly steamed seams). With its new features, heavenly light, and steam that could rival a spa, it wasn’t an upgrade—it was a lifestyle choice. I love ironing so much that even my tea towels walk a little taller after a press. And saying Oliso has found a home in my sewing studio is like saying coffee sorta helps in the morning—massive understatement. Oh—and their customer service? Unprecedented. I’m convinced they might actually be fairy godmothers in disguise.

If your steam doesn’t work
If your steam doesn’t work at first: I honestly thought this iron was defective. Customer support asked me to press the steam buttons 30–40 times, but it took much more. After about 100 presses, the bottom steam started working. After 300+ presses, the front steam also worked. Once it starts, the steam is extremely strong. Please be careful. After that initial priming, the steam works perfectly. I’m very happy with it now and glad I didn’t return it.

Great Iron, but not for me
I love my Oliso iron and thought the small project iron would be great for ironing while I’m piecing. I didn’t love it. It is not near as hot as my big Oliso, which make sense and is just as described. I didn’t like the feel of it while I’m using it; that might be familiarity with the big one. There was absolutely nothing that was not as described or that was poorly made, but I just don’t love it. I know people who do and who say it’s the best travel iron around, but this quilter prefers the bigger iron.
