Pet Hair Remover, Dog and Cat Hair Remover, Carpet Rake, Carpet Scraper

I have 2 long hair cats so the pet hair struggle is real around here!! My townhouse has 2 carpeted stairs and no matter how many times I vacuum them (which is a huge pain since I don't have a cordless Vacuum) they just don't get it all imo. I have tried a few gadgets from Amazon that target the cat hair ok but nothing amazing UNTIL I bought a carpet rake with accessories on Amazon. The rake was impressive but the little handheld gadget was way more impressive. I liked it so much I gave it to my mom and planned to buy another but I saw this pair. These resemble the one I gave my mom but there were 2 at half the price of buying it all again. FAST FORWARD....just got it and OMG....this is UNBELIEVABLE!!! I literally just vacuumed my stairs with my NEW SHARK VACUUM and still got a ton of cat hair from deep down in the stairs. I mean a TON. It's not that the new vacuum isn't good, it's that this is so deep down from years. I actually like the one with the brass edge the best. The other handheld with the rubber end is just like the one I gave my mom but this metal edge is even better. It's crazy. I used the rubber one on a bedspread the cats had been on and it just balls it right up and you can throw it away . I am going to save a small fortune in those tape lint rollers that I got through so fast. To me these are perfect for high traffic carpet and bedding that attracts hair etc. A simple rinse and you're good to go. It's worth it to have one in every room for a quick touch up before company comes. Love it!! Fantastic product

I was skeptical buying this. I have used many gadgets in the past to try to get dog and cat hair off my steps. My husband use these first and absolutely loved how it not only got the hair off the steps but it got all the hair off - they looked like brand new stairs! And that’s saying a lot since we’ve lived here 25+ years and never changed the carpet on the stairs.

These are great tools for removed cat hair, and each works differently on different surfaces. I had to experiment a little bit. One really cleaned up the carpeted cat tree well, in particular. One effectively also removes pilling from medium heavy fabric (like trousers).

Hopefully you can see the "line" in the image, that's the only corner I did as a test, and I got THAT MUCH out of it! Granted, I have 5 cats, but I vaccum regularly. This really works! My carpet feels literally like it did when it was brand new, all the fibers are softer and feel more free! It didn't just collect fur, it collected dust and debris my vaccum doesn't usually get. This is a great pre-step to shampooing, I'm sure it'll make it much more effective now that the carpet fibers are loosened and unflattened (and free of hair!) I can't reccomend this enough, especially at the price!! Yes it will take a long time, this corner took me 10 minutes alone, but the actual use of this item felt great, no snags or anything, I'm just thorough. If you're not sure on getting a carpet fur cleaner, this is your sign to do it! This one, any one, this thing really works!

Overall Rating — 3.5 Stars Either I don't have a lot of dog hair lying around (umm, no, my GSD is shedding his winter coat, hair is everywhere) or this remover collects only a little at a time even with hard strokes. I tried this on my bed, clothes, and couch (my GSD has claimed the couch as his and insists on having HIS side of the bed), and while I have a dog seat blanket cover on the couch, I have nothing on the back of the furniture. PROs - 1) it does work, but at a lower than expected level for me. It removes hair, off my clothes after several bushings (cleaning the glove each time) but leaves a few pieces behind, and this is after several strokes. I also tried it on my duvet cover (only use the duvet, hate trying to put on some pretty covering). My duvet is white, my GSD is solid black, stock hair length, it got some of the hair off the duvet, but again, it left hair behind, and I had to go over and over it again to get most of it off the duvet, but it still left a few pieces of hair here and there. 2) the scraper to remove the hair off the glove is pure genius. It cleans the glove completely of hair and allows one to easily drop into the waste basket. CONs - 1) The glove itself is awkward to use, it has two slots that basically only allowed me to splay open my fingers in a Vulcan salute to use. The glove is not snug enough to stay on the hand. I cannot do continuous strokes without pulling the glove back up to my wrist. This means the amount of hair I collect is minimal and requires more time to clean something. The couch in particular. I know it's not designed for a duvet or clothing, but it requires a couple of strokes there. 2) My package didn't have any instructions, and I've not yet figured out what the small, gray comb scraper can be used for, but not scanned YouTube for instructions. FINAL OPINION - I'm keeping it for small jobs, but I've found a handheld vacuum works better for the couch and bed overall. If you're looking for something minimalistic, this product will do nicely. If you're expecting miracles, lower your expectation significantly.

Amazing! Having a lighter hair golden retriever and hair that non-stop sheds, the metal one has been a great tool. Not just for annoying stairs, but regular carpets and even blankets where shaking, washing and drying it barely gets the hair off. I wouldn’t use it on cloths but for everything else it’s a game changer. This beats silicone brushes every time!!

Really works. Have used it on my couch a few times and it truly pulls up hair that I didn't even see from our cat. Only good for flat surfaces though, I wouldn't use this on carpet, it's not that great when we tried it.
