It’s definitely better, but this is close in quality for half the price! ### ⭐ Hope you like sand *by on Reviewed in the United States October 28, 2024* All in all, this tripod is pretty good. It’s solid, light, and I like everything except one really bad detail. The material they used for the locking mechanisms on the legs, and the grip towards the top of the tripod. The material is so sticky, that sand-dirt-dust literally sticks to the material. If you go to adjust a leg, sand is now all over your hands, waiting to be spread all over your camera gear. The sand will also get inside the threads and ruins the threading. I was in Moab and was constantly having issues with this tripod. Idk why they would choose this material for a tripod lock, my Induro tripod has a nice finish in the locks, in which sand dirt and dust simply does not stick to the mechanism.
