BEST AND EASIEST 3D PRINTER UPGRADE
After modifying my Ender 3 Pro with most of the suggested upgrades and discarding some that were not useful or made it more difficult to use the printer. I use my printer almost daily as I have designed a few products and soon will be marketing them, some of the product require a color change which is difficult with the Bowden Tube extruder on the side, and using the printer over a year now and experiencing the difficulties and print failures i was looking forward to converting the extruder to a direct drive system to rid myself of the Bowden tube failures and to make filament color change easier. The recent last clog of the Bowden tube mad my decision easy, my printing stopped and I ordered the Creality Sprite Extruder Direct Drive Dual Gear Extruder SE Upgrade Kit, and it was the best upgrade choice ever made for my printer. The upgrade was very easy, instructions were easy to follow and it worked as soon as I completed the upgrade. I have now printed over 30 print models without a failure or jam and my top layer have even improved. Since I am a constant tinkerer and a retired scientist my next upgrade will be to enhance my print speed from my now 150mm/sec maybe with a faster hot end that i could also print carbon fiber filamants. Any product suggestions would be welcomes, Chester

Works great. Be careful with e-steps
This was very easy to install on my ender3 v2Everything bolted on with no problem, and I only had to make one small modification to my custom hot and set up for everything to fit.Where my problem came in, was doing e steps/rotational distance..are used a online calculator to figure out the proper numbers, but for some reason it was reversed. The higher, the value, the slower, the extruder mood, filament, transversely the lower the value of the faster the filament was pushed. After a lot of measurements and waisted filament, I believe my extrusion was around 26.25 mm/s.Obviously, this won’t be right for every machine but hopefully it will give you a baseline. With a stock hot end, minimus cooler, twin, cooling fans, and the direct drive , I am printing at speeds up to 170 mm/sThis would equate to a 20 x 20 bench block that would normally take 40 minutes to complete being completed in roughly 12 minutes!

Easy install, works better than stock.
Edit: My second purchase of this extruder for my 3rd Ender 3v2. I did a lot more cable management this time around. I utilized an unused CR Touch bracket as a clamp to secure the wire bundle to the extruder just beneath the extruders tension release lever. This is only available if you have also purchased the CR touch and are using the Ender 3 V2 mount, which frees up the unused brackets. (See new photos)I purchased the EXTRUDER along with CR TOUCH and SPIDER 3.0 HOTEND for ENDER 3 V2 . They all fit perfectly together and don't interfere with each other. There is one possible pinch point if you were to max out your print height as well as the width if you allow the cables to run between the extruder and the vertical aluminum extrusions on the right or left. So I opted to secure the cables to a leftover tube resting in the inlet for the extruder. Its free to spin and bend which will help feed the filament and avoid direct wear and tear on the extruder.Since the CR touch was already installed and calibrated The only change to the code was the new E-Steps for the new extruder, Everything else stayed the same. Of course I ran a new Bed level but that is automatic. I'm using Mirscoc Firmware. Board is 4.2.2.

Best upgrade I've made
Had it about a month, has significantly improved my prints, especially when using TPU.
