I chose this coat rack (there's a pair in the package) because they matched the chrome trim on other parts of the manufactured home in which they're installed but also they seemed to be a good value. I still think the value's there but you need to know some things. The individual hook segments (they're attached by screws from the back side of the mounting bar) are rather close together on the mounting bar. The layout works for me but may not for you. Second, the mounting bar only has two mounting holes; if what you're hanging on the hooks weighs as much as four pairs of adult sized denim jeans, the screws may not hold in the supplied screw shields. My solution was to drill two more holds in the mounting bar. Finally, the mounting screw heads are supposed to be obscured by supplied hardware; there's a little, translucent "grommet" that you run the screw through before using it to mount to the coat hook bar. Then, once the screws are tightened, there's a chrome cap that is pressed into place over the screw head. Use caution when tightening the screw and don't overdo it; if you tighten the screw too much, the cap won't go on the plastic grommet. My four star rating reflects the lack of instructions regarding the use of the hardware. I am going to buy another set for other closets in the house and I will drill additional screw holes in the metal mounting bar to aid the weight bearing abilities of this product.

The total length is 16” with each double hook being 3.5” apart making it hard for putting lots of heavy coats on there. I learned that the key to making this work is through preparation of the installation. Be sure to drill holes before hand using the template. I used my own longer screws into more heavy duty wall anchors and have not had a problem with weight amounts. It does include smaller screws and anchors, but the bigger the better. There are caps for the holes as well so you will also end up hiding it. The hooks are nice and strong and overall well built. It looks great together or on its own. Overall it’s a great bargain for a 2 pack.

The product itself is looking fine. But like other reviewers have mentioned, the drywall anchors are absolutely flawed. The metal screw is too big for the anchor. And the anchor itself doesn’t grab well into the drywall. So once you nail the anchor in and try to screw the metal screw into the anchor hole, the force will twist the anchor and dig a hole on the drywall. So I ended up buy a pair of 98 cents drywall anchors from Home Depot to get the job done.

States Stainless Steel!!!Although purchased in July 2021, my outside shower was not finished until Sept. The two hook rails looked so nice when first installed, I was so proud, now less than three months, both are pitting and blistering???? SO racks may be stainless coated, but definitely NOT stainless steel !!!!!!!

As soon as you open up the box do yourself a big favor and pitch the included wall anchors and find better ones. They are very cheap. I put a dab of super glue on each cap so they did not fall off since it came with extras. Otherwise I am pleased with my purchase. Would recommend.

My daughter has far too many coats and these two hook racks are amazing and hold them all! Very easy to install durable and dont look cheap!

Bought for new home. Mounted with anchors and are holding up with weight of pants and robes no problem. I did use a heavier duty anchor than provided. The actual hooks can withstand the weight no problem at all.

Very nice looking but I’m a little concerned with their long term durability. For hanging clothes they are fine, but if you hung something very heavy on them I could see the hook bending. So far they do look very nice. I did use stronger sheet rock anchors then what was supplied with the hooks.
