The straps go under the mattress so there is a lot of give, i.e. the restrainee still has quite a lot of movement available, they may be more restrictive if you can fit them under the bed, but that was not possible with our super king sized bed. The rings on the straps and hogtie are not welded and would pull apart with any appreciable force applied. The cuffs are comfortable and the nipple clamps have fun little bells and enough adjustment to stay secure without 'too much' pain. The blindfold has quite a raw edge that may cause discomfort to the nose. The 'tickling stick' is more of a joke item than anything useful.
