These do what they are intended for, the quality is decent enough. But using it for a while, to boil tea in a borosilicate container I used previously on a gas stove turned out to be very slow and disappointing. There simply isn't a lot of metal here to heat via induction, and then heat transfer to your cooking piece. No real fault of the product, it works, stays clean. But ultimately, I just bought a proper induction friendly pot.

Actually worked pretty well on a Coleman gas stove. Needed something to disperse the heat. After the third use it delaminated. It's NOT a single piece of stainless, it's laminated with a different metal between. Not sure what metal it is. I can probably keep using it but I won't buy another. I'll go to a machine shop and have one machined out of solid SS stock.

I use this to protect my clay olla from heat surges on my electric coil stove. Works perfectly and I dont get some beans stuck to certain spots like I did even on the gas stove I used to have. Much more even heating. Very difficult to actually burn the food unless youre trying to.

I got a new induction range, and needed an adapter to use a favorite 4-quart steamer pot. Used it several times to steam baby bok choi. Was perfect. I used it on 7 out of 10 heat setting. Was fast, not noticeably slower than cooking without the adapter. I think this adapter is not recommended for high heat, but 7 seems fine. Also note your pan bottom size should match the size of the adapter and burner ring (or a little smaller) for best results. For slow simper, pot size can be a lot smaller than the adapter.

Not really compatible with my induction cooktop (Elica ENS436BL). The adapter is detected all right, but it warms up very slowly, and it causes some very alarming clicking noises from my cooktop. I am too afraid of damaging my cooktop, so I returned the item.
