For hiking it’s solid you can fit a first aid kit and phone or ccw pistol and wallet/keys. Has plenty of pockets although the small front pouch zipper is difficult to use and will get stuck. For running it’s not ideal. The straps do not stay secure and will loosen up. You’ll find this chest rig bouncing considerably while running with any decent inside. I’m a pretty big guy 6 foot 230 pounds and it doesn’t stay snug. For the price it’s not bad especially if this is for hiking when you don’t wanna bring a backpack.
