I was looking for a versatile converter as I travel a lot. Not only a simple one, that can be used with my hair styling brush and also my devices. I traveled to the Netherlands and I was very pleased with my purchase. As it did the job excellent. Was a very good value for the money, the power capability was excellent converted my items from the US to Europe very easily. Also has a carrying bag that makes it easy to carry around

Alright I never write reviews but this thing is SO good, so here we go… I did a lot of research online before choosing this product. I was looking for a converter that would work properly/wouldn’t blow up/destroy my expensive blow dryer while I was away in Europe.. for reference I currently use the Curlsmith defrizzion hair dryer. I’ve travelled a lot over the years and have had awful experiences with crappy converters ruining my expensive beauty tools. Thankfully, that has finally come to an end! This thing worked FLAWLESSLY for over a month of traveling between different hotels and airbnbs in Portugal, France, Monaco, and the Netherlands. If your main reason for purchase is to use this with a blow dryer, look no further. Just make sure you use the “converter” outlet, and not the “adapter” outlet for certain fancier tools. Check devices wattage/type etc, use it properly, and you should be good to go. The only downside is that I had to prop up the converter with something (chair, books etc) when it was plugged into the wall, because it can’t really hold itself up when a heavier cable is plugged into it. The adapters are kinda flimsy when connected, but that annoyance was a small price to pay in order to use my beloved hair dryer while abroad. If you aren’t sure which converter to go with, let me save you the hassle of worrying and researching… just BUY THIS ONE.

We bought a 4 of these for our recent European vacation. We already had a converter we bought for our last vacation, but it was a little noisy and we needed more this time to recharge computer & filming equipment at the same time. What a waste of money... I had my new travel CPAP pluged in using this and went to sleep fine the first night. I kept waking up with my CPAP turned off and having difficulty breathing. At first I chalked this up to possibly a defect in the CPAP. I hadn't actually taken a trip using it yet, so I thought I just got a bad lemon. But it was not the CPAP, IT WAS THIS CONVERTER! I noticed that my computer and filming equipment were not charging as they should within an hour or two. After further digging, I realized that all 4 of these things were just stopping at intermittent frequencies and staying off for most of their connected time. And the converters never became disconnected from the wall outlet. When I shifted to my slightly noisy converter on night 3, I finally slept fine. EVERYTHING worked fine with my older converter from Fry's. But with this one, everything just disconnected from the power by itself. I will warn every single listening person who may be entertaining this purchase to steer clear and don't waste your money. CRAP ITEM! P.S. Why didn't you return it? Because I bought it to have on hand in plenty of time before leaving like a responsible traveler. 5 months later is too late to file a return claim. So, monty lost = lesson learned.

Use this on my trip and it worked great

I mainly use this converter in USA for heated upholstery purchased in China. Before purchasing this unit, I was really skeptical about the product as I had two failure experiences for other converters. I asked a few questions about the convert and the seller provided prompt responses and convinced me it’s a high standard product. After receiving it, I immediately open it and tried it. It’s easy to use as included product description/instruction is clear and it works like a charm. The converter itself is not heated up at all after 1- hour usage for my heated upholstery, not like other converters I had before already blew up after 30 minutes usage. With additional adapters for Europe country, long durability of main convert, reasonable price and nice custom service, this product is worth your attention if you shop around the convert.

Yes, the shaver is 10 w, and as you said it dose not work with the converter. I tried it with the adapter 100 - 240 V but it cause the trimmer to vibrate violently which indicate the adapter is given much higher than 110 V required by the trimmer/shaver (WAHEL SUPPER TAPPER II). Maybe I did not pay attention to the wattage minimum requirements. I therefor decline to accept your offer to replace free of charge. Thank you for the explanation. I purchased this for a trip to Europe mainly because I would be able to use my curling iron and Revlon brush. Most options on Amazon showed as being compatible for electronics but not styling tools. It’s so large and clunky that it ended up falling out of the outlets in the 3 hotels I stayed at while in Europe. That was 2 different hotels in Rome and 1 in France. I ended up using the Europe connection piece and did away the clunkier one that had the USB ports. Still keeping because I know I’ll still end up using it and it won’t go to waste. That’s my only quirk about that. The Europe attachment piece worked just fine. Used a curling iron, revlon styling brush, and a flat iron and all worked just fine with no burnouts.
