This is actually my second VIVOHOME distiller (I accidentally short-circuited the first one 😅), and now I’m officially a water snob. The difference in taste and clarity is noticeable, and it gives me peace of mind knowing exactly what’s not in my water. It’s simple to use — just fill it up, start the cycle, and let it run. It does take up a good amount of counter space, so plan accordingly. Cleaning is easy, especially with the included citric acid, which removes buildup with very little effort. One heads-up: it doesn’t come with charcoal filters, so be sure to order those separately for the best results. Overall, it’s a great investment in cleaner, better-tasting water!

I own an older version of this distiller & one of the major issues it had was that the overheat switch failed after about 10 or so overheats (out of water). Another flaw was the pitcher was not formed correctly & it spilled easily when dispensing water. But the older model did have a handle on the top cover (not on the new version, made it much easier & safer) to remove the top to refill when still hot. The new model is much improved. The overheat switch does not appear to fail. The pitcher comes with a metal cover with an much improved pouring port. Overall the distiller works great & looks good too. The manufacturer appears to have taken a more serious approach in designing the distiller vs the seemingly previous ad-hoc approach. Glad I waited for this model.

This has been a great addition to our house. We use it to distill water for our CPAP machines. It enables us to cut down on all the plastic in the bottled water. Cleaning is simple too.

I love this water distiller. It comes with a fruit powder add that and water let it boil for 30 min and it rinsed clean. It taste great , it does have a fan noise but no louder then the fan over the stove very low. It's worth the money if not it should be worth more. It was so easy to get started it basically comes out together already buy your own charcoal filters as it does not come with it. It's med size counter top stainless steel good quality for the money you pay

So far, so good I love this thing! Gives me distilled water without little effort on my part. It is a little hard to remove the piece to put the filter in, but that is no biggy since the filter doesn't have to be changed everyday. It is a little annoying that I have to clean it out after every cycle but it doesn't take long to clean the scaling at all. it did come with its own 'detergent' but I have no clue what the product actually is, or what's in it so I don't use it. The label on the container just has the instructions on how to use it written with poor grammar and nothing else. I bought a separate cleaner but before buying that, I just used vinegar, a microfiber towel and some elbow grease to clean it. The glass gallon it comes with was annoying to put together. there were no instructions on how the handle was suppose to attach and it took my forever to figure it out. There are also no tools to help tighten the screw on and nut on. I did it all using my fingers. That being said, I don't use the handle when the gallon is full because it doesn't seem very sturdy. The glass gallon is also not tempered. Per the manual that comes with this machine, the glass cannot go from room temperature to super cold or super hot because it can break. So don't freeze this or pour hot water into it. all, in all, this was definitely worth the price and is a great investment. I am glad I bought it!

Makes distilled water that I use quite a bit of but does have drawbacks. The instructions explicitly state that you cannot carry or pour from the vessel using only the handle, it won’t support the weight when it’s full. If I could remove the handle entirely I would, it’s a stupid design. The lid of the vessel has a cutout for the water to drip into from the machine and comes with 2 lids, one has a spout that is supposed to be used when using the machine for the water to drip into however it is not created well and you end up with condensation and it drips onto the counter from all over the rest of the lid. The other is just a loose cover for the opening to keep dust and contaminates out of the distilled water. The metal lid itself as a whole doesn’t screw on to the glass vessel easily, it’s a pain. The design of the vessel is just dumb in my opinion. That said, the machine itself does work, is fairly easy to clean and is simple to operate . For the money it is worth it to me to not have to worry about getting distilled water from the store especially because it comes in plastic containers. It is a large machine and it’s unfortunate that I have to use it often enough that it must sit out on my counter taking up a good bit of space but at the end of the day I’m glad I have it.

With a little bit of preventive maintenance to keep it clean, this could easily become your best friend for distilled water. It’s great in a pressure canner, no residue. Definitely worth the money. Make sure to place the cap directly below the spout. It has a noise but too noisy. Water tastes great! I had no leakage problems. Buy one, you’ll like it

Works great! The pitcher is kinda flimsy but I love that it's glass. My only complaint is they don't note that the filters you need are sold separately. I was excited to use it and had to wait a few more days for filters. I use it everyday now and the water is delicious.

This is a great counter top distiller. It doesn’t flip my breaker like other brands did and it fills a 4L jug in about 4 hours if you fill it with hot tap water. I pour a little vinegar in the bottom to clean it after each use and it’s lasted really well! I use it almost daily.

The distiller is a little heavy for me. But it works like a charm. I love it.

PROS: Modern design. This water distiller does what it is supposed to do. It comes with a good quality glass collection jug, not one of those horrible cheapo plastic ones. You have to do a couple of distilling runs and discard the collected water as it tastes bad. However, taste improves to a degree with each successive run. Easy to clean with the powder cleanser that comes with the item. Easy to assemble. Plug in and use straight out of the box. CONS: The fan is rather noisy. You only get 3.5 litres from a FULL level distilling run, not 4 litres as advertised. I am extremely disappointed that the inside of the "stainless steel" distiller drum has started to go rusty after only 2 weeks of light use (used once per day). The rust patches are getting bigger after each run, and the limescale removing cleanser doesn't remove the rust. The quality and thickness of the stainless steel drum inside is really poor for the price. So, I don't know how much use I will actually get out of this water distiller, time will tell. I wouldn't buy again. And that's why I have give this item only 1 star.

Not safe - Water does poor in the bottle, the little tubeto poor the water inside the top is not working properly and after 2 hours I check the water filling almost 1/4'' in the tray placed under the distiller, and this was the 4th time i just 4 days of usage. I have to return it.
