So this is our second jar that we have purchased from Amazon. They carry this at Whole Foods but its 9.99 for a 1 lb jar. Technically buying it here on Amazon saved us a buck... but hey it's still a buck! This honey is the REAL DEAL! I mean this isn't even comparable to any honey that most of the country/world is familiar with. This is ORGANIC, RAW, UNPASTEURIZED, UNFILTERED HONEY! It is so DELICIOUS!!! Since it is 100% pure and in it's natural state you are getting a superior product packed full of live enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Honey is healthy! My husband's grandmother emailed me all of the benefits you receive from honey (and cinnamon) but it is doubtful that just any old honey provides the grand benefits listed in her email (especially not the kind I grew up eating that my mother purchased from our local grocery store). So I am sure that people are trying to do right by their bodies when they eat honey but I feel their money is being wasted because if you buy a non-organic, processed, pasteurized, filtered honey then most of the nutrients are lost during all of these processes. I purchased three brands at the same time so I can taste to find out which on is best for me, so I have purchased this YS organic, stakich and canada white gold, Shipping: YS organic arrived fastest and I received in the third day while the other two a fulfilled by Amazon and that did not arrive until 8 days later appearance, this YS brand is in very clean looking glass bottle while the other two in plastic and the stakich bottle do look a little messy Taste and texture: the YS brand is very smooth and less sweet than other two, the texture is very fine and butter like (its just very good looking), stakich taste very average and the white gold taste real good with very creamy flavor, however it is too watery (even though they claim it is very dry, but I liked it as it is easy to scoop and apply. one more thing about this white gold. they do not have a really valid contact information, if you search the website, they only have a temp site with a cell contact number, which is very bad) personally, I liked the YS the best, however I would suggest the owner not to reply to negative feedback like they did here, it is ok for people to not like your product, and it is just not nice for other consumers to see how you replied btw, the honeys taste all depends on the types of honey and flowers and environment, but I will buy YS and White gold again

The only honey I had ever bought was off the supermarket shelf - the deep, dark amber-colored honey that would leave sugar grit on my teeth and give me a stomachache if I ate too much. When my certified organic raw honey arrived, I didn't think it look too appealing. A pale creamy yellow color in solid form. I'd never seen honey that color before, and I was skeptical about how it would taste. The second I put the first spoonful in my mouth, I was in heaven! This is, hands down, the most delicious honey I have ever tasted! And now I think the pale, creamy yellow color is just beautiful! This honey somehow manages to be both light and rich at the same time, sweet, but in a clean pure way, not heavy and syrupy like the honey in the supermarket, and the taste is light years away from any honey I've ever had. In a word, I'm sold! I don't use honey in baking, I don't put it in my tea, I just eat it - right out of the jar. I have eaten a shameful amount of this honey so far (still in solid form), and I can't stop. It is that good. It may seem silly to get excited over honey, but honestly, this stuff is the best! I will never buy another jar of honey from the supermarket again. In fact I plan on stocking up on this honey every chance I get. Bless the bees who made it, and bless yourself by trying it!

I only write reviews for products that stand out.. Negatively or positively... This honey was a surprise stand out so thought I should definitely share.. I was in need of some honey and since switching to foods that have higher nutritional benefits decided to look into raw honey. After reading reviews I was concerned that the honey would taste waxy.. and since I've always preferred clear honey I wasn't sure my family would enjoy it.. HOWEVER... I kept an open mind and gave it a try. WOW!! It tasted incredible right off the spoon.. Literally melting in my mouth (I didn't warm it first) and even better with melted organic butter on sour dough.. Why, oh why have I been eating the commercial stuff for so long!? Well, no more! It's honey, and tastes like honey should.. I recommend giving it a try with an open mind as I did. I'm a convert! I read the blurb on the side after a tried it.. I'm impressed by their passion. I wish there were more companies out there with a focus on quality and not quantity. I will be a return customer and will no doubt buy a few more of these as gifts. Thank you YS Organic Bee Farms.. I was honestly disappointed when I first tasted this honey. From reading the other reviews, I ordered it in anticipation of tasting something that I've never tasted before, something unlike the flavor of any honey I grew up with. I wanted to finally understand why Winnie the Pooh goes bonkers for honey... Unfortunately, while this is a good honey, it is basically a crystallized unprocessed honey with nice smoother creamed texture than typical aged granular honey. While it is marginally better than store-bought processed honey with flatter flavor and caramelized stronger aftertaste, it ultimately left me wondering "What's the big deal?" The Y.S. Organic raw honey is a product of Brazil & Canada, and it's worth a try if you've never tasted raw unfiltered honey before. However, I recommend that you lookout for fresh unprocessed honey from your local bee farmers instead, which may also help you ward off allergy symptoms to your local allergens. Those will taste more like the popular Honey Spoons candy (sold at Cracker Barrel) without the distinct complex flavor of aged crystallized honey which is what this honey ultimately tastes like. Many may prefer creamed aged honey, but I personally prefer the taste of fresh liquid raw honey.

I have written a review of YS Organic's raw honey before on a different size/product, but just to reiterate it here: I love this honey. I seriously doubt I could ever love another honey as much as this raw honey. I have tried several other raw honey brands, even fresh comb from my friend's family beehives, and its just not as good. This is the sweetest, most delightful honey--PERIOD. It is solidified unlike traditional honey, so at times it can be harder to work with in cooking and smoothies unless you warm it a bit in the microwave, but I seriously could care less about that. I had to buy two humongous jars to keep up with my cravings for it, one for work and one for home. I drink a lot of tea and do a smoothie most mornings, and I often incorporate this honey into it as a natural sweetener. It sweetens my tea with very little, and it melts into the tea beautifully--honestly, the effect is hypnotic in my clear glass teacup. Sometimes I'll eat a small spoonful for a snack and energy pick-me-up midway between meals, and it is so satisfying that I can trade out a processed dessert for it. The nectar of the literal gods, seriously.

I have been using this honey for years buying it from Whole Foods in NYC. I prefer it because the ice-cream-like-texture and creamy smooth mouthfeel is very apparent with this honey. It is not overly fragment nor sweet. I am now very happy that I can find vendors on Amazon JP that provide this honey here as well.

非加熱非濾過の生蜂蜜を買い漁っている内の一つです。高純度の結晶生百花蜜で、夏の室温でも殆ど液化しません。香りはやや重めですが、クセが無く滑らかで口どけも鮮やかです。百花蜜としてはマイルド系かもしれません。量的にはかなりコスパの高い良品です。
