The musical notation is of french decent and instead of quavers semi quavers it has lines..1 under with two numbers on is basically play both notes very fast... Iv learnt a lot about how a song should be played and grasped the concept very quickly No wonder it is a very popular way of learning music... straight to the core👍 Anyway Good book and if learning the guzheng like myself will definitely start you off very quickly Nice concice book

As an English beginner this book is REALLY helpful, it tells you how to pick out the right guzheng, tells you the notes, the right ways to play, explains what parts of the guzheng are called and how to put it together (strings and how to wear your picks). Also has beginner songs to practice!
