I'm 5'6", well, only if I haven't had a haircut in awhile.. and if I'm standing on my tip-toes.. and I stretch my neck as far as I can. No really, I am 5'6" and I've always struggled with comfort at my desk. As a Software Engineer, I easily spend 8-10 hours every day at my desk just sitting. You know how little kids sit on a chair and kick their feet back and forth because they don't touch the ground? That's basically me on a toilet, in my chair, a public transit bus, etc... Okay, my feet touch the ground, but I like to lean back in my seat which DOES lift my feet of the ground. Super uncomfortable after a bit of time. I find myself sitting on my legs, which looks juvenile as hell for a tech professional at their desk. Enter the foot hammock. I have been more comfortable at my desk for the last day than I can ever remember. I can lean back, my feet on the hammock relieves the weight on my legs at the end of the chair, and I can raise my chair up to a more appropriate height for the desk. Seriously, combining that with having elevated my monitors and I feel like I'm in short-person ergonomic heaven. It helps that I can easily sit up in my chair and the hammock just swings with me. The foot rest I tried for the last couple days has nothing on the comfort of this. For $17 uh, yeah, do it!

I bought this in 2018. I worked in a call center for 10 hours per day. I have swelling problems with my feet and this really helped to keep my feet elevated and also helped with taking some pressure off my lower back. The size was big enough to prop up both feet at the same time. It was easy to install. Perfect support on your feet and legs. I have a pic of my feet propped up...somewhere. when I find it, I'll add it.

I love having this foot hammock under my desk at work. I am the type of person that has to have my feet up under my desk (I think it’s because I’m short). This is very easy to set up and use. I didn’t put the hook on it because it wouldn’t fit on my desk if I did. The only complaint I have for this is, it has fallen off my desk twice now since I got it 4 months ago. I believe it is because of the padding on the clamps slowly “falling” off. Other than being inconvenient and surprising because my feet are on It, I would still give this a good review. It is comfortable and works really well with my angled desk and doesn’t hinder it when I raise it to the stand position.

There's not a whole lot to this product. It's one fairly large piece of fabric, two blocks of wood, some "rope" and some plastic locking bits. The plastic bits don't work. You'll need to tie knots to ensure that the desired length of the "rope" doesn't change. The rope is absolute trash. I broke the left side a week or two into having this mounted. I fixed it as best I could, remounted it and a few weeks later it broke again. I figured out that when I move my feet while on the hammock it begins to saw into the rope and it will eventually break. Best thing you can do is to buy yourself no more than 10ft of 550 cord (aka Paracord) and replace the rope/string/whatever immediately. Other than those two issues, decent product.

I am the kind of person who always needs a footrest. I will use a chair, a yoga ball, a box, or even a trash can. This foot hammock is a convenient and comfortable way to make sure that I always have a footrest at my most commonly used table. I love how easy it is to use. The footrest is comfortable, yet also unobtrusive and stylish. The extra storage hook also comes in handy. The hammock is actually also more durable than expected. The adjustable straps on the sides allow you to easily adjust the height, while the adjustable clamps make the hammock compatible with various tables. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to kick back and stretch out their legs like I love to do!

When I installed this foot hammock (which took all of two minutes), I told my husband, "Oh my gosh! I am in short people heaven right now!" I was able to lift up my chair so my hands rest better on my desk for typing and because that would tend to make my legs go numb, I can now rest them on the hammock and it feels so comfortable. I love how adjustable it is as far as height and the clamps work great on our custom made desk. I was concerned about the metal base but I was pleased when I took it out of the box and saw the felt. I considered getting a foam rest that would sit on the floor but what I like about this is I can easily slide the hammock off if I want to pack it away to make the desk area look neat. I have used it for two days and it has stayed at the length I set it.

Not sure why I waited so long to get one of these. So much better than a foot rest on the floor: not in the way when vacuuming, far easier to adjust to the perfect level, easy to clean, my feet actually like it! This can easily be used on a desk with solid left/right sides, as long as the back is open. It'll take a bit to adjust the rope so the hammock hangs straight. As mentioned by Kevin in another review, make sure to fix the knots that hold the rope in place!

The only problem with this foot hammock is that the metal against the threaded rope that holds the hammock up wears down _very_ quickly. Even with not much weight on it, the rope will just tear after about 3-6 weeks of use. I've re-tied the rope four times now and I'm just going to throw it out and get something better (the knots I made did not break, the rope just tore at a different point). To help prevent this, the ropes shouldn't be able to rub against the ridged metal clamps. But sadly this isn't a very well thought out product.
