I find such a tool is necessary for opening doors and such on plastic kits. Results in a much straigther cut than using an xacto knife due to the stiffness. Be sure you have Tamiya's handle for this or some other mandrel. Comes in a nice durable case that can be used for storage, but unfortunately it came all smashed due to shipping in a flimsy envelope. Very sad.

Yeah it works, but it's stupidly expensive
Seriously? It's one tiny blade in a box obviously designed to hold 5. Not worth the price.

Spent 20$+ shipping and only lasted about a week. Very disappointing, tamiya should retire this product or offer replacement and warranty. Product is trash.

Es un "scraper", funciona como un antiguo abrelatas con mucha precisión, recorta plástico a base de sacar virutas muy finas. Lo he usado mucho y no se desafila. Buen producto.
