Spigen Tough Armor Designed for Samsung Galaxy S9 Case (2018) - Black

Pros:- Durable (my phone fell out of my pocket while doing ~40mph on my motorcycle. Case was scuffed but no cracks or scratches on the phone. The case was fine too.)- Convenient (I use the kickstand daily to watch videos and to help hold the phone one handed)- Price (won't break the bank)Cons:- None that come to mind after more than two years of using it dailyI liked this case so much that I bought it again after I snapped my kick stand off after years of abuse (I probably rolled over it in my sleep). Now that I got a new phone I looked for the same case and I am still happy with it. The kickstand is ridiculously useful. I can't go back to not having one.

The case is just what's essential in a case: protection without making phone use more difficult. The added kickstand is flimsy, but intentionally so. If it were brittle, it might break off of the case entirely. As built, however, the kickstand could fall off and then be put back on without permanent damage to the case. I have already dropped my phone a number of times with no damage to the phone. The case looks sleek. The ports on the bottom of the phone are great. The only issue I have, and this is unspecific to this case, is that the heart-rate sensor seems to have a harder time getting a solid read on me when the case is on. This would happen with any case, however, and the sensor still works generally.

Military grade protector for cell phone with very good design. The corner air bubbles are incredibly effective when the phone falls in the worst of angles (straight on one of the corners). Very sturdy material and convenient button access without losing protection. Very impressed with the design and after months of use it fell more times than I can remember on hard surfaces like sidewalks, concrete, granite flooring and the likes. Phone kept safe through it all and the cover itself does not show the misery I put it through, if you dont look closely you can't even see the markings from the falls.Great product

The case looks great and definitely protects the phone while not making it overly bulky. The kickstand on the back definitely WORKS, but's not exactly the toughest thing on the case. I'm always careful with it because it just doesn't feel that strong, but it props the phone up well enough. It would be better if it had a locking mechanism, so when you pull it out, it locks into place and doesn't move until you unlock it. Other than that, I'm satisfied with the case.

I recently bought a Samsung S9 and this case. The case is a perfect fit and provides a great texture to the phone that makes it easy to hold and buttons easier to identify. Because of the shape of the S9, you will sometimes get unwanted taps on the phone. This is not due to the case but the design of the phone. My only concern is the stand in the back. It looks like if I apply a little too much pressure, it can dislodge the stand. The stand works only for the horizontal orientation of the phone . One is above 45 degrees and the other is below. There's no way to change this but it's good enough for my use. I cannot rate the durability at this time. Time will tell how durable this case is.

This is nice. I love the fact that the volume buttons are smooth and that stupid Bixby button is corrugated. I can feel with my finger when I'm pushing the Bixby button, the stupid Bixby button, when I intend to hit the volume button. Also pleasantly surprised to see a kickstand. Such a simple solution to a much-needed future. Feels Solid too, yet light. And the price. Literally one half the price you would pay for an inferior case at your local cell phone store.

I really like the Spigen Tough Armor cases. I think they provide excellent protection for my Galaxy S9 phone without being too bulky. They also have a surface that allows me to grip the phone more securely than the phone without a case.

This product is essentially well made EXCEPT for the fact the extendable incline support arm piece on the back is defective - - hence the 3 stars, The phone cover is made of substantial material and would seem to provide adequate protection for the phone in the event of an accidental drop, etc. The very small flush support arm on the rear of the case is useless when extended as instead of rigidly supporting the phone on an incline when it's stood up, it merely flops loosely in its slot and the phone then falls down flat on its back. This ever so major feature defect (the reason I bought this case in the first place) was for the incline support feature and of course it woefully turned out to be worthless. Otherwise, the case makes for a good fit size-wise and is cosmetically handsome, therefore only the 3 stars rating.
