Great starter pack
Like many pet owners, I want my pet to have healthy, clean teeth. But it's nearly impossible to brush my cat's teeth for obvious reasons. So I ordered this water additive in hopes of helping keep his mouth clean. Obviously, I'm not a veterinarian, so I can't really tell if it's cleaning his teeth. But I can say that this is a nice kit. It comes with a glass jar, several packets of the powder additive, a little packet to keep the additive from clumping (like those silica packets), and a tiny measuring spoon to use the correct amount of the powder in your pet's water. It has everything I need! From what I can tell, the additive doesn't alter the flavor of the water enough for my cat to notice or be bothered by it. It dissolves nicely without clumps (although it does make the water very slightly greenish). And the kit comes with a lot of the powder to get you started on your pet dental hygiene journey. I have to say that all this makes me pleased. I've been using it with no problems! I'm slightly confused because the instructions say add a measuring spoon full of powder to your cat's water every day, but my cat does not drink an entire bowl of water every day. So those instructions are a little unclear. But I've just been adding it to his water every time I refill his water bowl, and I think that's fine. Who knows. But I'm happy with this starter kit, and it'll definitely last me a long time.

Pricey but may help
I had tried this product earlier in the year but had to stop due to the heat. We had mosquitos really bad and I noticed that the bowls of standing water quickly got mosquito larvae in them so I decided that this product was too expensive to keep up with (the jar I didnโt get to try with the Vine program). In the couple of months that I used it I did not notice any ill effects in my pets (multiple cats and one dog). Now that itโs cooling down and I was able to get a new supply I have tried this again. I have multiple standing bowls of water and fountains around the house. Although the scoop is small putting in a scoop a day will go through a packet rather quickly. I will also add that with my fountains I have removed the charcoal filters as I have filtered water and also donโt want the filters to remove the product from the water. I have a wide range of ages in my cat family from year olds to seniors. Iโve seen no ill effects on this second attempt and Iโve been using this for a few weeks now. Can I say for certain that itโs helping my stomatitis kitty? Not 100% sure but Iโm optimistic. This product is a bit on the pricey side and, if youโre like me, with multiple water bowls/fountains around the house then youโll be going through the small packet nearly weekly. I like that you can just buy the refills rather than the whole kit and that itโs made in the US.

Great well designed cat teeth cleaning product!
This is such a great well designed cat teeth cleaning product. This is such a great and smart product to help aid in healthy dental for felines. I love that this product is made in the USA and is made from plant-derived ingredients that naturally improves and helps promote whole mouth health. I love that this product is tasteless, odorless, and has no harmful artificial flavors, colors, fillers, or preservatives! This is great because my senior cat (15) is very picky and will not eat or drink if she doesnโt like it. I have seen no change in her drinking habits since adding TEEF to her water fountain dish which is great! I would highly recommend this product if you have any cats because this is such a great product and my cat is loving it and not even know it!

"Award winning" but not proven by scientific studies. Expensive.
When I saw this in my VINE feed, I tried to find something other than anecdotal evidence found on other pet retailer customer reviews. I found nothing. Note that the "award" was for innovation, and not for the science. Frankly, there is no peer-reviewed science to back up the company's claims, even though it says it conducted clinical studies. The National Institutes of Health say there is no real proof of prebiotics helping stomatitis in humans, for that matter. And I could find nothing concerning veterinary academic studies. The ingredients are not toxic, so I thought it was worth trying for free, at least if it somehow maintains my cats' dental health. To get into the weeds, look for "Prospects for the development of probiotics and prebiotics for oral applications" from the National Library of Medicine. This is a very expensive scientifically unproven product. My rating system: 5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park. A great value! 4 Stars = Excellent product. You should give it a shot. 3 Stars = It provides some value, but perhaps not as advertised. 2 Stars = A little dubious, so do your research. Read the critical reviews! 1 Star = Avoid this product and look elsewhere.

Cat has no problems drinking, time will tell on TEEF
So I got this for my little cat that's about 4 years old. It comes with 3 foil packs filled with powder (probiotics), a small glass jar with a screw on lid, super small spoon and a desiccant pack. The instructions say to pour all packets of powder into the small glass jar, add the desiccant pack. Use the small spoon scoop out one level serving (scoop) of the powder into the cats water once per day. Please see pictures for other details. Time will tell on how it actually positively effects her teeth (TEEF). She has good teeth as of now so hopefully this keeps them in good condition. She has no problems drinking the water with the additive and hopefully it helps her stomach as other probiotics do. The downside is the cost. It's worth the price if it helps my cat. Good luck and good health, Dr. K

Great for petโs dental health
I like that this comes with a reusable glass jar and you just buy the refill packs to refill the jar. It also comes with a tiny scooper to properly measure the right amount of product to put in your pets water bowl. Directions are easy to read. This is a great product.

Similar ingredients to some Vet Oral Council approved products; CAUTION for hyperthyroid cats
I did not notice a difference in my kitty's breath over the course of a couple of weeks. I had to stop giving this to my stinky breath cat, though, because she has a hyperthyroid condition, which is common in senior cats. This product contains Chlorella which has iodine, and the excess intake of iodine can worsen hyperthyroid symptoms. My kitty is stable on her thyroid med, but altering her intake of iodine could muck all that up. Thankfully I had a vet visit before my kitty could have too much of this. Should non-hyperthyroid cats try this? There is an organization called the Veterinary Oral Health Council which approves of certain products (which I am sure the manufacturers pay for, so there is that caveat), and this product contains similar ingredients to that of approved products. The more I read about kitty oral health, though, the more I realize that nothing will replace manual brushing (which no kitty likes), but oral supplements might help slow down the development of problems. One should use with caution in senior kitties who haven't been screened for hyperthyroidism recently, though. Hyperthyroidism is now common in senior cats; many speculate that our home pollutants have contributed to the increase. If your kitty seems a little thinner over time or has "greasy" fur, make sure to get kitty checked ASAP. Hopefully the manufacturer posts a warning in the product information section.

Liking this so far, but time will tell if breath improves
So my little old lady kitty eats mostly wet food, which already doesn't smell awesome. So not a lovely gift for my girl's breath. I've been adding this to her water fountain and just add a little bit any time I'm adding a significant amount to the bowl. What I have noticed is that the water in the bowl itself seems to be lasting longer before getting funky and needing a whole bowl scrubbing, so that does seem to indicate that it's antibacterial properties is hopefully helping with microbial growth. So it seems like it would similarly help with the mouth bacteria that causes breath stank. I'm not sure yet if this would be worth continuing to buy but really need to see how long it lasts and if it has a noticeable impact on breath.
