I bought this specifically for summer hiking, and it exceeded my expectations. I recently wore it on a challenging nine-mile hike that included everything from dense forest canopy and high brush to long stretches of exposed sun in 90-degree weather. There were plenty of ticks in the area, so having full arm coverage gave me some extra peace of mind without making me feel overheated. The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and did an excellent job wicking away sweat while keeping the sun off my skin. I've learned that, especially on long hikes, a lightweight long-sleeve sun shirt is actually a better trade-off than a short-sleeve shirt. Staying out of direct sunlight helped me stay more comfortable throughout the day, and the added protection from brush, insects, and ticks was a huge bonus. This shirt was comfortable from start to finish, never felt restrictive, and has definitely earned a permanent spot in my hiking gear. I'd absolutely buy another one.

This is an outstanding hoodie no doubt. I don’t usually rate any products but this I had to if your looking to buy this. It’s great quality and the fit was perfect. I’m buying more. Lightweight comfortable.

Very comfortable and should help keep the UV rays off you and your head. Minimal space when packing so you can take it anywhere dries quickly and it doesn't feel like plastic. A lot of polyester smells bad after you wear it not this it's just great all around.

Wow these shirts are great for warm weather and yard work to keep the sun away and stay cool. Lightweight and the colors are great and stay true after many washes. Really good value for the cost. I bought size large because I usually wear large and it fits great!

Wore this during a full day photography event in 120 degree weather and it held up well against direct sun exposure the entire time. UPF 50+ protection felt legit, no sunburn despite being out for hours, and the fabric stayed breathable enough to avoid overheating despite the long sleeve coverage. Good fit for anyone needing serious sun protection for extended outdoor work or activities. Easy 5 stars for doing exactly what it's supposed to do in genuinely brutal conditions.

Good shirts. They are cool in the sun, keep the sun from burning you. Nice colors. Easy to wash. Buy them!!!!!

Got this shirt for a beach trip. It worked exactly as described and size was true. it was very comfortable and kept us cool after a long day in the sun. I would buy again.

I am super happy with this shirt - that I have used for hiking. The sleeves are extra long - with a thumb slot, to protect the hands from sun burn as well as the arms. (I never used the hood because the area I was hiking was warm enough as it was). I got this in a gold/tan color. I'd like to get another one in a different color someday. . . I thought this was very reasonably priced for how good a hiking shirt this was.
