Phenomenal Montior for a great price
When I was on the search for a cheap yet fast IPS monitor, it was hard to find any that didn't suck. With the cheap monitors being branded with names nobody has ever heard of and the expensive ones being, well, expensive, it was a delight to see a familar face. I already owned two ASUS products, and had grown a liking for the brand, so when I saw 180HZ, 1ms, and IPA, all for only $130 bucks, I was in awe. Considering the only even 144hz 1ms monitors I could find from reputable brands were all VA, which I'd learned to dislike because of the intense ghosting, so it was a surprise to see a brand I liked with a good, cheap product. Now that I have it the monitor, I'm not disappointed. The 180hz refresh rate is notable fast, the ghosting I was dealing with is nearly gone. The monitor's build quality is as good as I would've expected from a brand like ASUS, and although I can't discuss the height adjustment capability because I'm using a third-party mount, the mount itself attached way easier than my old monitor. I'd also like to note that one of the reasons I was scared to get an IPS monitor was because I was told the blacks weren't going to be dark, and they were going to look more grayish. Although this scared me, I bit the bullet, and was pleasantly surprised to see that the blacks were actually darker than on my VA monitor, and were definitely more black than gray. Overall, I recommend this product to anybody looking for a good quality monitor, and the low price is a insanely nice bonus.

Really Good Monitor, Only one Flaw.
What's good about this monitor? Value for performance is phenomenal! Response time is fast, and picture quality is amazing. The material of the monitor is made mostly of plastic, but really well put together! Not squeaky every time it moves like other monitors. Screen Performance is really good, it's 180Hz with a 1ms response and amazing picture quality! I'm using it on my PS5 currently, but soon on my pc when I finish getting parts!! The UI is super easy to navigate. It's really easy to adjust Gaming, Image, Color, and Input settings in the UI. The screen holds up really good, especially with the adjustable stand to adjust height. Not heavy at all, really easy to pick up and move out of the way or around if needed. Connectivity is really good. Connected through the HDMI provided to my PS5, and it registered 180Hz immediately, but unfortunately, my PS5 could only support 120Hz, so I can't use the monitor to its full potential yet! The only issue is the speakers; the speaker quality isn't that great. I know it's a gaming monitor, so speaker quality isn't a priority. It's not an issue for me since I use my own speakers, and I connect to the monitor or my headset. I would definitely recommend buying a set a speakers if you plan to game without headphones. Overall, this is a great buy! Definitely will be buying another ASUS monitor in the future! 9.5/10

Honda Accord of Monitors.
Honestly a all around average monitor. I actually have always used ASUS monitors for going on roughly 15+ years id say. They have gotten better over the years and I cant complain. I run a dual monitor setup so I have a older version of this exact same monitor. I just upgrade when its needed. And as of yet, I am still all for getting a ASUS brand monitor in general. Mainly because they wont break the bank due to them being reasonably priced. The monitor itself even my older one that is this style is sleek and very cord management friendly. I use my monitors mainly to game on my PC. But I also use them for normal computer needs. Overall I would recommend this monitor time and time again!

Fantastic value in a 1080p monitor (at $109.00)
I purchased this when Amazon had it on sale for $109.00. As I write this review it now costs $174.00. This is my first IPS monitor, and I was very impressed. My other monitors are all VA panels (27" and 32"). I just needed a smaller monitor to help with newly completed builds and troubleshooting. The colors are great. The stand is also sturdy, and the monitor can tilt, swivel and rotate. It has built-in AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync. As much as I love this monitor, I would not recommend it at the current price, simply because there are excellent deals for 1440p IPS monitors around the same price point.

Best of all time
One of the best monitors ever got this baby 6 years ago and it still holds a candle to gaming monitors now most at this price range lack in rgb or ms timing trust me I’ve tried to replace it but everytime I get disappointed by the competitors and the durability is crazy I’ve moved a couple times over the years and dropped once or twice and no damage also being able to adjust it is a god send because I sit in the weirdest angles

Perfect for 1080p gaming, worthless warranty
I spent days pouring over stats on various gaming monitors with the understanding that I would be upgrading my PC in the near future. My current GPU is all I need for 60 HZ gaming, but I wanted to increase my GPU's native refresh rate upon purchasing a new system. At 60 HZ, this monitor gives a very clear and responsive display with good color reproduction. It has various preprogrammed settings including one that optimizes FPS (especially helpful with Destiny 2). For the price (149.00), one cannot go wrong. Update: After one year, the monitor was shipped for warranty repairs as horizontal and vertical lines were appearing on the screen. The monitor was packaged in a manner that far exceeded ASUS' stipulated instructions. Upon receipt of the monitor, ASUS sent a picture of the monitor and shipping box as proof that they had taken possession. A few days later, I received a status Email that asserted the monitor screen had physical damage upon receipt; It asked if the monitor was shipped with the damage - to which I replied with a resounding NO! Another Email arrived that indicated ASUS intends to file a claim against the shipper for the alleged damage. Social media is replete with customer complaints concerning ASUS' failure to honor its warranties - In fact, there is a class action suit already pending against it. If you are going to purchase this ASUS product, do so with the understanding that ASUS is systematically denying warranty claims on its products. 2nd update: After waiting for five weeks, I finally received my warranty repaired monitor from ASUS USA today. The monitor received several repairs including a screen replacement and appears to be in good working order. My VG249QL3A monitor was little more than a year old and was in pristine physical condition prior to shipping (beyond horizontal and vertical lines along the bottom and right side of the screen). Thus it appears that ASUS is getting its ship in order... lets hope it lasts.

Has everything I need for the price range
My use-case is gaming and some work (text documents, IDEs). I have it hooked up to a Radeon 7800 XT via display port. Single monitor setup. Pros: + No glaring issues so far. + This model has the adjustable height which may explain why this was +$20 or so from other models with similar specs? + No dead pixels. + No ghosting. + Monitor wakes up properly even when my PC goes to sleep (had an issue with a previous Acer Nitro monitor). Cons: - More of an issue with IPS monitors in general. The darks are not as crisp/bright as my old TN monitor but that is just the tradeoff when dealing with IPS vs TN vs VA. - The stand itself is very bulky and heavy. I guess its part of their "TUF" branding but holy moly it is HEAVY.
