I’ve tried a lot of Amazon matcha and this FKRO Okumidori really stands out. The color is a super vibrant green right out of the pouch, which already tells you it’s good quality. It whisks up really smooth with no clumps and has that creamy, slightly sweet umami flavor instead of being overly bitter or grassy. I mainly use it for lattes and it holds up really well in milk and syrups—still tastes rich and balanced. It’s also really beginner-friendly if you’re just getting into matcha because it doesn’t have that harsh aftertaste some cheaper powders have.

This blend works beautifully for an everyday classic latte, this one is it. It froths so nicely and has such a velvety texture, with that bold, vibrant green color you want from a good matcha. Taste-wise, it’s smooth with bold umami and creamy sweetness, followed by a clean, rounded finish without that harsh bitterness. I wouldn’t pair this one with anything overly sweet because I think it can overpower the matcha itself. If you do want a little sweetness, I’d keep it simple and use something more natural like honey or a touch of maple. For my “for fun” latte , I muddled fresh blueberries with a little honey and finished it with fresh orange zest. 🫐🍊 The fruity sweetness paired really nicely with the earthy umami of the matcha without taking away from it.

This is my 3rd time buying matcha from FKRO, and it really doesn’t disappoint! I love how smoothly it blends, and it’s great for matcha lattes, especially when paired with different syrups. This time I made a guava matcha latte, and it tasted so good! I also really like that it gives me a nice energy boost throughout the day. If you’re looking for a matcha that’s smooth, low in astringency, and not overly bitter, I definitely recommend giving this one a try!

LOVE this matcha! I have tried a few different ones, and this has been the best by far. I also like noritual labs matcha for everyday, however that one is very mild tasting. Can’t really taste the matcha. This one has a much more flavor and is very smooth. It’s very vibrant green and doesn’t even need sweetener because of the quality. I do think it’s expensive but it’s worth it to me.

Taste-wise, it’s super smooth and not bitter at all. It has a nice, slightly sweet flavor with that earthy matcha taste, but nothing overpowering. I’ve had some that taste kinda harsh, and this one definitely doesn’t. It mixes really easily too—no clumps and gets a nice little foam on top when you whisk it. I’ve mostly been making lattes with it and it tastes really good, but it’s also nice just on its own. I’d definitely buy this again 👍

Really like this matcha a lot. Taste is superb. Blends well the texture in the hot water . I make match lattes. Yummy! I add soy milk and ice during the summer. Delicious. This is a very good brand and I am pleased✔️. The size of the package is tiny, I was surprised when it arrived. But it is in the price point of most others. Healthy, of course. Green food is good for you, simple as that!! Gives me good balanced energy.

This was my first time trying the ceremonial grade matcha. I tried the batista blend first. I was highly impressed with both. The ceremonial grade is very flavorful and strong, has beautiful color, and is perfect for drinks and baking. I made some matcha doughnuts with this product and they were delicious. I love the quality of this matcha and will be getting some more.

This matcha was really smooth and evenly balanced with every flavor profile. It wasn’t bitter at all. I made it with maple syrup and really feel it enhanced the flavor of the matcha. It is a nice rich green color and is perfect for any iced matcha! Would definitely get again!
