Mind the sharp edges!
Intended use is for continuous brewing of kombucha and needed a large glass vessel with a spigot. The item seems fit for purpose. The spigot is a bit fiddly to attach and the hole in the glass into which it fits had some sharp edges that needed care to avoid cuts to fingers.

Don't try and sterilise it in the oven!
The jar seems pretty decent, but this product CANNOT be sterilised in the oven as you would do with other similar products. There is no warning information included with the product, recommending against doing this, and ours cracked the first time it went in the oven.
