Review: 1cm reduction. Works, simple, stops a too big hat coming off. - Very easy to use. I have used 2 sets for 2 56cm hats, and there's a good 4cm left to cut off. Make sure you clean the rim of the hat properly before trying to stick it on, even if it's new it's covered in dirt and grease. Use an alcohol based cleaner to make sure it sticks and stays. Two hats that have always been 1cm too big now fit perfectly as 55cm. Yes, 1cm is about the reduction.

- One roll is enough to reduce the size of a hat by 2cm; although we recommend choosing a good fitting hat to begin with and using our hat reducer form making smaller adjustments (maximum 1cm (3/8")) for achieving a perfect fit.
- Usage instructions: Cut the strip into small pieces and place them inside the sweatband to find the right place and amount of padding; to permanently attach the strips stick them to the crown of the hat inside the sweatband

**Q: will it work on a felt cowboy hat?**
A: All it is is foam door seal they have bought in bulk, cut and sold for huge profit. Go to the hardware store and get a roll of foam door seal, 1/2” with tape on one side . Cut and put it in your hat band. It will work on a felt hat.

**Q: Can you peel it off of the hat without it leaving residue?**
A: I don't know as I've not tried to remove it from a hat.

**Q: How can I get purchase information for the hat used in the picture?**
A: You would need to contact Amazon or the Seller directly.♥️

**Q: Has anyone used this on a new era fitted hat?**
A: I’ve used it on a fedora and a steampunk top hat...  it worked great on both styles.  I’m sure it will work with a baseball-style cap as well.👍🏽

Fairly easy to use, and on the two hats that I have adjusted, the adhesive bands have effectively reduced their sizes just enough to make these hats much more comfortable to wear. I think I may well order another pack in due course so I can adjust the fit of other hats should the need arise.
