Fit
Brace fits well and is very comfortable. My thumb feels much better. The brace does not impede when completing any physical task. Definitely suggest this brace.

Gives good support
We saw a friend using this brace and my husband ordered one. It helps with his pain. So I bought one. I have lost a lot of strength in my left thumb--i actually think it's from holding a cell phone too much/long. This is helping with pain relief and support. It seems to be critical to use as directed by tightening the stiff piece at the base of the thumb

Great basal support
Great for the money. I was diagnosed with basal arthritis in both hanfs. The support brace the doctors office supplied was bulky and uncomfortabke. These are as comfirtable as you can get and still have basal joint support. Easily adjustable,You definately need to wear a liner underneath though.

New Life in Old Bones!
The thumb guard fits snugly, but not uncomfortably. You MUST put it on to a comfortable-ish position, and then press it to form the metal for YOUR thumb. Immediately it was comfortable. I played with the velcro to test how tight I wanted the bands to be, and to see that they cross my hand WHERE my pain is, and not where some manufacturer thinks pain might be. These are right on the dot for my hand. The liners are a plus, as they keep the plastic away from skin. The only time the palm of my hand was pinched, was when i was using the wand for my vacuum cleaner. I readjusted how I hold the wand, and all went well from there. I sat and did ink drawings for about 2 hours -- a sure way to make my thumb and forefinger HURT. I was only mildly uncomfortable in my wrist at the end of that. I spent the day, with paint brush staining, rubbin on and rubbing off with rags, planting, potting, trimming, weeding, hand watering, all day. I was able to open containers, without help or contrivances!!!! And I spent the whole day working without stopping every few minutes to shake my hands and groan in pain -- the first time in YEARS. Tonight, I took them off before supper, to let my hands rest on their own for the evening, and I set the thumb braces and liners (I purchased right and left handed) to soak in warm mild soapy water. They came nicely clean and are drying on a towel overnight. These may not be the best on the market. They may be the first in a long line of experiments for this style thumb braces. For today, they passed a huge test. I will keep them and use them daily, with great appreciation for their assistance, and for the joy of being able to do much work without pain. I will see how they last - they do come with replacement velcro bands, so I do expect them to wear out at some point. This BEATS the typical thumb/wrist brace, hands down. There is full mobility, and none of the heat and irritation of being splinted into rigid place. They are much better than my gel braces, which hold dirt and sweat against my skin, for alleric reactions. For me, today, they are worth the price of even one lovely work day. I hope they last LONG. UPDATE: Day 3 - terrible storm damage on our street. All day work with leaf blower, raking, chainsaw, clippers, hauling, carrying, pulling and pushing. Working with the leaf blower was not terribly comfortable, but that big machine in small hands never is. I simply switched hands more often. With the small chainsaw, my thumb went a bit numb from the pressure of holding and pressing and maneurvering with the saw against the brace. BUT!!!! I did NOT have arthritis pain issues! I was able to work for 6 hours WITHOUT my thumbs screaming in pain from those 2 large thumb joints, or getting cramps from the big stiff brace. It's miraculous! The grime washed right out of the velcro and the little elastic layer. So I'm happier than I was at the first usage.

Good quality thumb brace
I would purchase this again. I have a much more expensive brand for my other hand that I got at my orthopedic surgeon's office a few years back. I wasn't sure that the quality and fit of an online product would be good, but I was willing to try due to the price difference and ease of return if it did not fit. I am very pleased with the support and functionality to prevent joint pain while providing adequate hand mobility. The velcro quality is good and the product is washable. It comes with a thumb sleeve to prevent rubbing, which is an added bonus.

Easy, Comfortable, Quick Drying
I have arthritis in my thumb/trapezium joint which makes any pinching or gripping with the thumb very uncomfortable. This brace provides excellent support and comfort while being easy to wear and way less bulky then others I've tried. I also love that this dries so quickly - I'm a Special Ed teacher and wash my hands dozens of times a day - I needed a brace that would fit easily under nitrile gloves and dry quickly (the bulkier braces stayed damp forever). I will suggest that if you're anywhere near the outer limits of a size, to size up. Even though I was well within the size parameters for the small, I bought both a small and a medium and found the medium to be more comfortable (the small cut off circulation - which meant I wasn't feeling any pain (win) but is otherwise less than ideal. :) The medium is still very supportive and even more comfortable. I highly recommend.

Does not hold up for long term use.
2nd Brace. This brace would work great for short term use. After 2 months the gray and the black rubber/plastic separates and then it's done for. Not for daily long term use. If you only need it for a month or so, it will work great.

Big quality issue... could only use it for 2.5 months
Big quality issues. 1) the biggest issue is that the seam between the flexible part (lighter gray) and the harder plastic does not hold for very long.; this split after about 2.5 months. That is not long enough!! 2) The velcro doesn't last/work long enough, but at least they provide an extra one in the box. But this brace costs too much to have to replace it in less than 3 months!! Otherwise, it did a very good job of holding the thumb joint in place (thus limiting pain from DeQuarvain's), when it is in NEW condition. But that seam splitting (between the flexible light gray to the harder plastic) needs to be EXTRA REINFORCED!!! I bought the same brace for my other hand as well, and it has the EXACT SAME ISSUES.

Viele positive Unterschiede

Fatto molto bene
