Oh my goodness, this stuff is iconic! I have used Malibu on and off for years and it never disappoints. It really does help you tan so much faster and deeper! The Beta Carotene works wonders to give you that beautiful, rich golden-brown colour rather than just burning. It feels like it nourishes your skin while you bake in the sun! It is a rich, creamy butter that melts beautifully into the skin. It feels luxurious and moisturising, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth, not sticky or greasy at all. It absorbs well but still gives you that lovely glisten in the sun! It is water resistant which is great if you are going in and out of the pool or sea and it says it's clinically proven to be kind to skin – and I definitely agree! It doesn't irritate or dry out my skin. That classic Malibu smell! It smells like summer holidays and sunshine! It’s a sweet, caramel/coconut scent that just puts you in a good mood instantly. Love this product Beware this is very oily but works brilliant

Didn't apply as often as recommended and still ended up with a lovely deep tan after just 1 week in Corfu. Only downside it is a bit greasy but very easy to apply and has a nice smell to it.

I purchased this Malibu Tanning Body Butter to help achieve a deeper tan. It goes on smoothly, absorbs well, and has a lovely scent. I would highly recommend this product.

I found it good for a bronzing look, but it's very greasy and doesn't seem to sink in at all. Has a bit of a chemical smell in my opinion. A big pot for the money.

If you like a good tan that’s what you should get good value for money.

I’m a massive fan of the Malibu Carrot oil and so decided to try this for the sun beds. I was expecting a body butter cream consistency but it’s more of a solid balm that you have to scrape out and warm in your hands before applying. I knew as soon as I started putting it on it wasn’t for me! I would think if you kept it warm it might soften and spread easier but it’s quite a thick oil feeling on the skin that doesn’t absorb. I only used a small amount and hoped it would ‘melt’ in as I cooked under the sun bed but after my 12 minutes it was still very greasy and sticky to the touch. Now…this is fine if you are literally just going the sun beds and then back home to shower but it’s not ideal if you have to nip to the shops after or even back to work if you have a quick tan at lunch. I left greasy deposits everywhere and I gave myself a good wipe down after getting off the bed as well…so wear clothes you don’t mind getting marked etc and watch the car seats if wearing a vest! It did shower off easily with shower gel and left my skin feeling soft and I could already see the tan difference from the one application so I imagine if you persevere the tan will be glorious as it is with the carrot oil! I do think this would be great on holiday as it has all day to melt in the sun but for me it wasn’t ideal for sun bed use so I’ll be going back to the oil as it seems to absorb a bit better and save this for the sun lounger. Great product just personally for me I wouldn’t use it on the sun beds.

Fantastico, questo unguento è portentoso. Abbronza tantissimo e l’abbronzatura dura tanto tanto. Lo consiglio. L’odore non è dei migliori. Ma è ottimo per una abbronzatura dorata luminosa e duratura.

I’ve been using this since I was about 19 and had forgotten it existed! I now wear a factor 70 on my body and face but my legs NEVER tan, so I thought about this and I was happy to see it available! I really like it and it’s not greasy etc, it’s a great consistency and a blast from my past!

Wir haben die Karottenbutter im August in unserem Griechenland Urlaub getestet (bei +40° und permanentem Sonnenschein) und sie hält was sie verspricht. Für alle die wie ich den Hautton "Kalkleiste" haben ist eine Sonnencreme darunter dringend zu empfehlen! Besonders im Bereich der Nase sorgt es sonst für wundervollen Sonnenbrand. Nach dem Eincremen glänzt die Haut sofort total schön. Der Geruch ist sehr angenehm. Beim auftragen unbedingt aufpassen, dass man komplett getrocknet ist, bevor man die Kleidung anzieht. Gibt wunderschöne Flecken die selbst mit Babypuder kaum rausgehen. Bei sehr starker Hitze (und somit in Berührung mit Schweiß) wird sie sehr glitschig. In Flipflops also eine echte Herausforderung. Im Gepäck unbedingt ein Stück Frischhaltefolie zwischen die Butter und den Deckel geben. Die Butter wird (wie zu erwarten) sehr schnell flüssig und dann hält die Dose nicht ganz dicht.
