Hitori Gotoh, aka Bocchi-chan, plays guitar in hopes of joining a band. And while she's famous online, what's holding her back is that she's incredibly introverted. That is, until a desperate drummer gets Bocchi-chan out of her shell and onto the stage. Disc 2 - Bocchi The Rock! The Complete Season Review: A surprise gem - Finally the best anime of 2022 is available on Blu-ray. Bocchi the Rock is a surprise hit that really hits. The show has so many references from Neon Genesis, Slow Loop, First of the North Star, etc. The show even shows appreciation for bands as well, making multiple references their as well. It's such a a fun time following Hitori-chan (Bocchi) as a character as we see her growth as an anti-social character. One of the awesome things about this show is that the people who animated it must have had so much fun as this show will shift from multiple art styles as well as going to stop motion. And even the real life areas that inspired each scene is great. The songs are all wonderful and it's great seeing them subbed, except for the Asian Kung-Fu Generation cover not getting subbed, which is a shame as the lyrics really meld into what the show is. I have no problem with being subbed, keeping the JP voice actresses as the forefront. I can see people having an issue with the price, being close to $50. The amount of joy this series can bring is high. It has the fun of K-ON but keeping the focus on the music. It's an anime that can be easily missed, but it's clearly one of CloverWorks best series. And if you want more go read the manga that inspired the series. Review: Cute, relatable, funny, and bangin' tunes - Absolutely hilarious slice-of-life show.

Very fun anime about a girl with severe social anxiety trying to become a rockstar. Very fun characters, fun humor, great animation, great music. Truly sublime.

Good quality
Although I've seen it twice before over internet, it's still fun to review it on TV.

High(ish) price but series worthwhile
When I received this Blu-ray earlier this year, I was glad, so that I didn't have to depend on Crunchyroll to watch it anymore. Although this series never received a dub, sadly, an error that CR should surely rectify, and the price was a bit high for what you get, this goes come with a paper sleeve. And, the disc and case were not damaged. All in all, I was glad to watch this series again without having to use a streaming service. I wish this series was longer as I'd love to see Bocchi grow more with her band, and the yuri subtext within the series possibly become text. I haven't read the manga as of yet, but I'm almost encouraged to do after watching this series. So, I'd definitely recommend this series if you like music, socially awkward (or socially anxious) characters (depicted in a realistic way), and cute characters doing cute things (to an extent).

PEAK
I strongly recommend this anime to anyone. The Blu-ray I got came in perfect condition. The only problem really was that one of discs was a little loose from the package when it came.

Another reason to rewatch the anime
Finally bit the bullet and snatched a copy and I don't regret that decision! Allround great series. Only the price is something of concern.

Great fun
This should be top of every introvert's life goals list. Being able to take something you love and share it with people who don't entirely get you ... but accept you anyway ... and be able to accept being accepted is a rarity. This story tells it it eell, and believably.
