Excited
Latest Update: 5/22/2024 A week ago, today my quail hatched. Of 14 eggs, 12 Hatched. I am not sure what happened with the other eggs that didn't hatch but it seems they just stopped developing. Out of the 12 quail that hatch, 2 passed. I now have 10, very hyper and eating machines of baby quail. lol. I have learned so much so far, such as you're going to want to grind up your quail food a bit more than it comes to help them be able to eat it. I purchased a coffee grinder from Walmart and just processed it all down. They love it and eat a lot each day. My quail are even growing in their wing feathers now which is really interesting to watch. A couple of them were hatched with curled toes...don't freak out if you see this. It could simply be the size of the shell, or even the humidity in your incubator. But I didn't have to do anything special, and their toes straightened right out in a couple days. Over all, I am very satisfied with this seller and the eggs I got. I feel I had a very successful hatch rate. I will more than likely purchase again in the future once I gain my skills a bit more with what I have. Update: May 11th 2024 Today is day 14. So lock down day. Some of my eggs are wiggling and I have also candled all eggs and all 14 eggs have developed properly so far. No dead eggs and no unfertilized. Today I took out the egg turner that turns the eggs every two hours, and I placed paper towel down on the bottom of the incubator and placed all eggs back in, put the humidity to 65, and now we wait. So far so good. Now let's see how many hatches and how many survive the first 48 hours, which is the most important time for baby quail. Will update more to come. (04/27/2024) My eggs arrived all nicely wrapped. I was very careful when removing all the packing stuff so as not to accidentally break them. I checked all eggs, not a single one was damaged. I have them in an incubator that auto turns them every 2 hours. It also has the ability to keep the humidity in the proper zone and an alarm will sound if it goes to much out of range for temp and humidity. I will update when they hatch but so far so good.

Don't Buy
Shipping was fast, taking only a day or two to arrive. However, the customer service experience that followed was incredibly frustrating. When I reached out to express my dissatisfaction with the outcome, I was met with lectures about equipment and relentless questioning about my process. While verifying details is fair to an extent, I followed instructions by the book and know what I am doing. All of my incubating equipment was fully calibrated and accurate throughout the process, and I have successfully hatched mailed eggs from other companies using this exact setup. Furthermore, I even consulted with the veterinarian at my job, who has extensive experience with quail and successful hatches herself. Ultimately, only 6 of the 27 eggs hatched. One hatched slightly early, likely due to another chick jostling the egg. While I am happy with the healthy chicks I have and think they are very cute, I am deeply disappointed with the final outcome. While I understand that shipping stress can impact hatch rates, a 22% success rate is unacceptable. The exceptionally poor fertility rateโwith most eggs never passing the yolk stageโmade this investment a waste of money. I take incubation very seriously because I enjoy it so much, and based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company. After going back and forth via email, dealing with repetitive lectures, and realizing they weren't even reading my previous messages, all I wanted was a refund for the $28 I spent. Unfortunately, after reading similar reviews from other customers sharing the exact same experience, I have very little confidence that this company will address these quality issues or make it right.

Hang in there, your pips will hatch soon!
I ordered on May 8, 2026. They are 12 in total but there are 2 extra quail eggs. They arrived on May 13, we gave them a rest and set up the incubator for them. That same day we put them in the incubator, we candelled we saw that you can see inside that 6 have become firm and the others you can see that they have veins. It has been 19 days since we bought them. but they have been in the incubator for 14 days. so will see the next chapter. I will update on here later. Updated! It has been more than 21 days, and only one egg has hatched. The others tried to hatch, but all progress stopped after 24 hours. It is okay, though we know there is nothing we can do about it now. This is our first time experiencing this, but it was still so exciting to watch the eggs you cared for in the incubator. We are leaving a positive review because we know this is just nature. I do not want a refund since this is live poultry production, not a regular item. You did your best! Thank youโฆ.

Good luck to ya
First order ended up having a few eggs cracked and half of which were not fertilized. After contacting the seller they sent me an additional few eggs as compensation with my next order, however half of these were not fertilized as well. Unfortunately from both my orders I was able to incubate a measly 7 quail. I've been doing this for over 20 years now and these eggs are great quality if you get a lucky batch. Just luck of the draw I suppose

Very low hatch rate
The order took approximately one week to arrive. Upon receipt, I allowed the eggs to rest for the recommended 24 hours before incubation. Prior to placing them in the incubator, I candled the eggs and noticed that many appeared to have detached or stuck yolks, as the contents did not move properly when the eggs were gently rotated. Despite these concerns, I incubated all 37 eggs. On Day 7, I candled them again and removed several eggs that showed no signs of development. Additional eggs were difficult to assess due to shell color and thickness, so I left them in the incubator. At lockdown, I performed a final candling and removed more eggs that showed either no development or failed development. After opening the unhatched eggs, it became apparent that the vast majority were either infertile or had never developed beyond the yolk stage. Out of 37 eggs, only two chicks successfully hatched. The remaining eggs showed little to no development, making it clear that fertility was extremely poor. I understand that shipping can impact hatch rates, but this level of loss is far beyond what would be expected. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing from this company. The hatch rate was disappointing, and the overall outcome made this purchase feel like a significant waste of money. Unfortunately, after reading similar experiences from other customers, I have little confidence that concerns like these will be addressed.

100 percent recommend! Perfect packaging and hatch rate!!!
I was very sceptical about hatch rate. 11 of 13 beautiful skittles hatched, and all are doing fabulous. All adults and all thriving. Also super cute and fun. see crooked rooster on fb for videos. this won't let me upload videos...

Overall great outcome๐
I ordered a dozen eggs and recieved 14 in the mail. For note, they were scheduled to arrive on a Monday, and they ended up being delivered 5 days early, so I had to scramble to get my incubator running. So if I was to order again I would definitely keep a closer eye on the usps tracking website. Out of the 14 eggs, 2 were non-viable at 7days incubation. 11 hatched on incubation day 16. One had prolapsed intensines and unfortunately didn't make it. The remaining 10 are doing well and look perfect. 71% hatch and survival rate on my order. Update: one additional died before fully mature. Out of the remaining 9, 5 hens, 4 roos. One hen never laid eggs, not sure if it was just sterile or what. One hen is jumbo, a solid 8 grams bigger than her sisters. All are still thriving spring 2025. Excellent layers overall. All White color with black speckles
