## Description

Anya is a lovely salad/ second early variety producing long oval tubers with a distinctive nutty flavour and a firm texture. It superb as a new potato and is delicious roasted with the skin on or sliced and fried in butter. It is a cross between Pink Fir Apple and Desiree with the flavour of the former and the smooth texture of the latter. It is less knobbly than Pink Fir Apple making it easier to clean and prepare for cooking. Plant March- May, harvest June-July.
