Pioneer TS-G1720F 17 cm 280 W Coaxial G Series 2-Way Speakers

Bought a pair of these to replace original paper cone speakers in a Peugeot 306 convertible which were totally blown. At first glance they looked to be of decent construction with plenty of mounting holes around the rim to make for easier installation. They are quite shallow and have a fairly small magnet though but they didn’t disappoint. The sound is clear, bass handling is reasonable and they don’t distort easily. Overall they are good value and I will be buying another set to replace the rears.

Fitted these to a VW Up after one of the factory speakers gave in. They work fine and the sounds is OK. Better than the factory speakers (which were utterly terrible so that's not a high bar), but I wouldn't say it sounds good. Probably reasonable for the price.

I used these as rear door in fills , rolled off the top with a multi channel dsp set up so as not to upset the front sound stage , and they worked very very well for a touch of ambience , cheap as chips too , win win in my opinion.

Maybe it's just me, but I got these to replace my factory speakers in a Leaf that were completely shot. I was probably expecting a bit more oomph, but these are just OK. They do the job for the money I guess, but I wish I'd have gone for some more wattage

Couldn’t have been happier with these speakers!Just added to the side of my unit in the back of my camper, it means I don’t have to have the volume on full for the people in the back, the sound quality and bass is very impressive and for the price I wouldn’t look elsewhere in future!Easy to install also!

Speakers arrived crammed into a small box not the original packaging. As a result one of them was bent. I did manage to straighten and fit successfully. Apart from the damage, sound and look great.
