I've struggled with dark marks from skin issues since childhood, and this soap made a noticeable difference in evening out my skin tone. It doesn't feel stripping like other brightening soaps I've tried, and my skin actually feels more hydrated after use. The lather isn't particularly luxurious, but that never mattered much to me. It's a plain white bar nothing special to look at but it smells nice. Would recommend for anyone dealing with hyperpigmentation or uneven tone.

I know different products work differently for each person. However, I really noticed a difference in lightening of my facial freckles in one use! I am a pale redhead with tons of sunspots and freckles. I was not taught to use spf as a child and have tons of spots on arms, chest, and face. As I get older, they have really started to bother me and age me. I tried the orange version of this soap years ago and really didn’t see any change. I was reluctant to try this white version, but it was affordable, so I did. I could not believe my face after one use! Overall complexion was lighter and my biggest sun spots diminished. I kept noticing results each day after using. My arms - which are just covered with freckles - I didn’t see much lightening improvement but I think I will over time. They are just really severe cases. But I can see it working on my face, so certainly my arms will follow. Also, I know this sounds weird - but my elbows became soft and silky! Without lotion! I was amazed! My elbows have never felt that good! Even with scrubs and body oils. I looked like a freak petting my elbows all day. It must be the exfoliating and moisturizing properties of this. Magic. I am sad because I had to stop using them temporarily but no fault of the product. I’ve been having SEVERE hormonal, post-pill acne. I have been hesitant to put this on my face now because I’m afraid it may make it worse. But..seeing some of these reviews maybe it may help heal it. It’s horrible anyway..why not try to reintroduce it? Hmm. Anyway, try it! What have you got to lose? I am very very very impressed with this white version!!!

With continued use it definitely brightens your skin tone and smells amazing, I love this soap!

This soap was pretty good, nothing amazing but decent. It did a good job cleaning the body, but doesn’t do much for brightening. Also, the soap is really small compared to the price. I wish it was bigger so it could last longer.

Very clean scent. Lathers amd rinses well. Excellent head to toe.

I have some age / sun spots and was really hoping that this would lighten them at least a little as they are very noticeable. My skin is very fair / light and I’ve used two full bars (very small) every day for a few months now and have not noticed a single bit of improvement. (Yes, I wear sunscreen every day and have a dermatologist that recommended other products but not this one). The soap itself smells fine, but has not improved my skins color. I would say this is not effective and would not recommend this.

I like that the package has two separate bars. It was gentle on my skin and imparted a brightening effect after one use. It will take longer to see if there's dark spot and freckle fading. I lathered with my hands, let the soap sit for 2 minutes, rinsed, and applied moisturizer to damp skin. It did not cause a problem for my sensitive skin, and you can, as you get used to it, leave it on for a few minutes longer, but if you over do it is said that it can cause irritation and redness. I also suggest getting one that has no fragrance or fruit extracts if possible because they can cause irritation on their own. UPDATE: After a few weeks of consistant use,I would buy this again. It has lightened my freckle cast from sun exposure, but the dark freckles I was born with have stayed with minor lightening. The minor stretch marks I had on my hips are barely noticeable now. I've also used this on my face and have had no problems. A+

My skin has always loved glycolic acid, so when I heard about kojic acid I was keen to try it out. I did some research online before using it, & the advice seemed to be to introduce this powerful ingredient into my skincare routine slowly...only a day or two per week to start with. Over time, as my skin adapts, I can increase use to every other day. Koji makes a few different soaps targeting various skin issues/concerns; I bought this particular variation on the theme bcoz of the specific properties it boasts...& I have to say I'm impressed with how well - & quickly - it's delivered! (I also love that it doesn't really lather in the traditional sense - it's more silky & moisturiser-feeling, than the usual very bubbly drying-feeling lather I have come to associate with soap; as much as I still wouldn't skip the moisturising step in my skincare routine, it leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean as opposed to stripped) I noticed, both, the firming effect on my face & its ability to clarify & brighten my skin tone in record time with zero irritation...I'm happy to say, I can definitely see seriously glassy skin in my near future. I have a feeling these 2 little soaps are actually going to go a long way; but when I finally finish them I will definitely buy again (although I might try the pink-coloured Koji soaps next; I like the look of them...such a pretty shade!)
