Highly recommended.
Works as good as the original. No more leaks on GE GTW465ASNOWW. Easy to install. Good fit too.

Great part
Fit washer perfectly and was easy to replace. Saved a repair bill or even a replacement

It's cheap
Cheap cheap cheap. They didn't include an o-ring for the fill sensor and the washer leaked all over. It is such a small o-ring and it probably cost a fraction of a cent to include.

Perfect fit, no more dripping after the cycle is finished.
Perfect fit replacement part. Fixed multiple issues with this one part. (1) Water dripping into the wash tub after the wash cycle was finished. (2) Unable to ever get all the water drained from the wash tub, even after repeated spin/drain cycles. (3) The dryer needing multiple cycles to get clothes dry. It's obvious now, but at the time, it was not so obvious, that all these issues were really the same one issue, which was the fact that all all times, the old part was letting water continually drip into the tub. Replacing this part fixed that. In retrospect, having now taken it apart and seen it up close, I could probably have cleaned the mesh filters inside the old part, and replaced the old rubber o-rings. But I'm happy with this repair for the price. Even the dryer works better now, since the clothes are more dry after a spin/drain cycle than previously. ONE MAJOR NOTE: To those saying the part leaks, you must remove the o-ring in the center of the old part, where the temp sensor fits into the part, and transfer it to the new part. That o-ring IS REQUIRED, and does not come with the new part. As long as you do that, you shouldn't have issues with the part leaking. Longevity remains to be seen, but so far, I'm thrilled.

Solenoid coils can be removed
Cold water solenoid on my washer failed open. GE doesn’t sell solenoid coils individually so you’ll have to get the entire valve body. You can remove the coils from the valve body though which saves you from having to replace the entire assembly. Now I have a spare hot water solenoid and valve body in case the original body threads ever get stripped. $25 repair over $300+ for appliance repair technician. Time will tell how long the replacement will last.

Easy install but keep old gasket. New valve doesn't come with gasket & you'll need it for sure
This is the 2nd water valve replacement I've done on this machine in past 2 yrs. The most important thing to remember that the gasket does NOT come with the new water valve. This gasket is needed so you MUST take it off of the water valve you are removing. If you dont have this gasket your machine will shoot water up through that hole. Also, the hole the temp sensor fits in on this new water valve was a solid hole. I had to push through the bottom of it to open the hole up so the temp sensor (WITH GASKET!) would fit it it. Had me stumped for a bit since the previous valves had the hole through. Worked great after I figured out I had to punch the bottom of the hole opening.

same thing but cheaper compared to appliance store
fits my washer perfect. just keep in mind on your old one if you have the temp sensor or not. the temp sensor goes in the small hole on top. if you have the sensor, great. this is plug and play. if you do not, your gonna need to take the cover from your old one off and put it on this one.

Fixed the drip into washer tub when machine off
I noticed my washer tub had little amounts of dripped water after it had been off an hour or more. A friend told me this was the part I wanted. So I bought it, then watched a couple U-Tube repair videos. Looked like a piece of cake. I am sure it would take most people between 5 and 15 minutes to replace this part. But it took me several hours because the old screws, etc, did not want to come out. Plus the back of my machine was different from the ones in the videos. It was worth every minute because I was able to fix it myself. Didn't have to call a plumber or a guy from church to help. And to me, this was a great accomplishment for a 71-year old woman.
