Romisen RC-G2 Cree LED Flashlight, Black

Had this product for about 6 months. The first couple months I was amazed - this thing is small, bright, and solid. It still is, actually. The only problem I have at the moment is that the switch doesn't seem to close its contacts securely. For example, I can switch it on but upon letting go of the switch button the light turns off. Apply pressure with my thumb on the switch again, and it turns back on. I'm considering having to mod this thing to ensure that the switch closes when switched. Other than that, this is a good flashlight.

I got this torch and I was initially quite happy with it. It seems solid and well built, and fits in the hand or pocket well. However after a couple of months of very light use the switch failed, and no only works when the switch is held half way in. Basically the torch is useless (NB: see update below).If you want a cheep and cheerful torch you'll probably be lucky and get a working version, but be aware it's a cheap torch and may not be reliable in the long term.Update - I managed to fix the switch. Basically you pull it to pieces, move it around a bit, and put it back together a bit tighter. There's a guide on the budget light forum. It works fine now, and for the price it's decent, though reliability is questionable.

This is a very bright, solidly constructed, and compact light. It does not allow for any adjustment on the beam for broad vs. narrow focus, and that's why 4 stars vs. 5. Arrived very promptly, and a very good deal vs. local REI store.

I bought this light after seeing a review of it on youtube. I love it! It feels great in my hand, and I'm very impressed by its light output. It's no Quark or Surefire, but at its price it's great. I went camping with some friends right after receiving it and all were impressed by its output and how far it threw light for a single LED. I also enjoy that I can easily mount it to my rifle. It also has a good lantern mode. When I went in my tent I fastened the lanyard to the top of the tent and unscrewed the cap. Insta-lantern! Would buy again!

Has the potential to be very good if it works. I ordered 6 of these 3 came with defective switches. I exchanged them (PIA) and got more defective switches. Not trying again.

This thing is awesome for the price...Lots of power, great light, easy to use, and runs off of one AA battery...Perfect size for the pocket, fly fishing vest, etc...AA batteries everywhere and seems to be pretty rugged, as i have dropped it a couple times from approx 10' ontop a concrete floor with nary a scratch, kept on working...Gave one to wifey for her purse too, no complaints from her....Not going to replace some of my larger, more powerful lanterns, but a great piece of kit to always have on ones person....

If you are looking for the best flashlight on the market, this is it! You could literally duct tape this little flashlight to the hood of your car and drive with it. What is really amazing, is that it puts out so much light with only one AA battery. You can't go wrong with this little flashlight.
