Surprisingly Flattering and High-End Quality! I couldn’t believe how great these jeans are! I’ve always been loyal to high-end denim brands, and these totally exceeded my expectations. Right now I’m in between sizes—I’ve gained some weight but am already on my way back down. I ordered both the size 14 and the 12 in short length. I normally wear a 14 (I’m 5’2” and 180 lbs), and the 14s fit comfortably, but I was shocked to find that the 12s fit too! They were snug, but the material is stretchy, soft, and extremely forgiving—surprisingly comfortable even in the smaller size. Both sizes looked amazing in the mirror. The short length hits just right for me when I’m wearing 3–4 inch heels, which is my go-to look. In these images I’m wearing heels, about 3.5 inches. The jeans graze the floor in a flattering way and have that perfect bootcut silhouette that works beautifully over high-heeled boots. If you look at the product photos, you’ll see they fit like a dream and give that sleek, elongated leg effect. One thing to note: the short length runs a little longer than expected, so I wouldn’t wear them with sandals unless I hem them slightly—but with heels? Perfection. These Flying Banana mid rise boot cut stretch jeans are the best fitting and most comfortable pair of jeans I’ve owned in a long time. They are soft and stretchy, made of nice mid weight denim. The color is just as represented. The fit and style is flattering. The mid rise comes right to my belly button and thankfully the waist is really comfortable. Fits me like a regular rise. All the stitching is perfect and the quality is very nice. I’ve already ordered a second pair! For reference I’m 5’5”, with kind of short legs, between 135 and 139 pounds. I bought a 10 short. The inseam measures right at 30”. They did not shrink in the washer/dryer. I used a low heat setting and took them out of the dryer after 20 minutes. They were dry by the next morning. I can wear them with a low heel ankle boot and my sneakers. Great buy for such a beautiful pair of jeans.

These jeans were a really pleasant surprise! The quality feels much higher than expected for the price point — the denim has enough structure to feel durable while still being comfortable to move around in. I ordered my usual size 2, and they fit true to size on my 5'2", hourglass frame. They hug the waist and hips nicely without creating gaps in the back, which is hard to find sometimes with curves. The boot cut style is super flattering and balances proportions really well, especially if you have hips or a fuller bust. They give a long-leg effect and look great dressed up with boots or heels. The only downside is the length. If you're petite like me, they are definitely a little long to wear with flats. With heeled boots or wedges though, they look perfect and don't drag. I have these flying banana jeans in the dark color and the lighter color. They are a stretchy Jean fabric and hug your curves. If you have a large meal don't worry about it they will stretch a little bit to accommodate. But they will not stretch out and become saggy. I have a regular length and I need to wear a shoe with at least an inch base so they don't drag on the ground. Longs would be perfect with high high heels. I'm 5'8 for reference. The fit is true to size. They are really cute jeans. They wash very easily and do not bleed onto other fabrics. I know this because I put all my clothes in no matter the color on cold with Tide and I never have a problem. These won't shrink in the wash. I dry them gently on low. Material is medium weight and very comfortable and soft. The pricing is on point, I think these jeans are very good quality and quite a deal. These go great with a t-shirt, button down, casual or dress it up for a sexy look. Very versatile.

I’m 5’7” and about 175 lbs., and I ordered a size 12 in Dark Blue — they fit perfectly! Jeans are always such a pain to buy — sizing is all over the place, and it’s hard to find a pair that’s both flattering and comfortable. These check all the boxes. They’re high-waisted with just the right amount of stretch, soft to the touch, and the length is spot on (I wear them with a wedge boot, and they hit perfectly). The bootcut style is perfectly balanced - not overly flared - just right! Super comfortable, flattering, and they hold their shape throughout the day. Honestly, one of the best-fitting pairs I’ve found in a long time!

The run a tiche big but comfortable (perfect amt of stretch) and flattering. The material is not thin but not 80’s thick. Kinda in the middle. I’m 5’4, 165lbs, with a lower belly, and the size 12 fits great (not tight). The length is long for me but with heals they are perfect. I love the fact the pockets are plain too. With a nice top they look classy but also good with a hoodies too. Will keep buying as long as the prices stay fair.

Update March 19 2025: I’m updating my review because I’ve ordered 3 pairs of these jeans now. The first 2 were so great and fit so unbelievably well which is what made me order for the 3rd time. I literally just re-purchased the exact same pair from my previous orders, yet this 3rd pair is nothing like the first 2. They do not fit the same, they are huge and too long and baggy on me. I am so upset 😔 I was telling anyone and everyone to buy these and now they apparently changed the sizing or something and now I have 2 great pairs and 1 pair that is huge on me even though they’re all a size 2 short. What a bummer 😔 I am in complete shock by how well these fit. I never expect jeans to fit me perfectly, even if I buy them in store, because they are always way too long and I either have to go get them altered or roll them up (even if they are “short” sized). But I’m 5’3 and these are actually the perfect length, don’t touch the ground when I walk AND are form fitting and flattering without being uncomfortable and awkward to try and move around in. 10/10 will be buying more immediately
